how easy depends on your soldering skills. if you can solder two wires together i'd say it's easy. there is a picture with a open crafty a few pages back, take a look.

when warranty is over just...DIY ! before that it doesn't matter you will get a replacement.

just wait a month or two when the first warranties expire...... I think we will see all sort of mods...!

got a new unit (rma) last week. i agree there are random letters between the numbers...... or better only 3 numbers between 5 letters. (MYnLLnnL) i had a very first unit, this on has all the upgrades but i have noticed some things: the power button feels flimsy.... old one was solid...
