    Crafty/Crafty+ by Storz & Bickel

no, the temp sensor is a small black pin at the end of a cable, touching the battery. the thermal fuse is a shiny metal round cylinder connected to the main board. (check the photos a few pages back.)

that gray cable is the heaters temp sensor. yes, this cable could trigger a fault in the crafty. (if a lot of the actual wires inside are broken) just connect everything don't close it yet, and start it too check if the overheating sensors are the culprit, and squeeze that cable with your...

it looks ok. but could you put the sensor away from the heater on the other side? just in case.... also, it is possible your battery has a lower amp rating than the stock battery, and heats up quicker/more. I too changed my batteries today on my mighty. Sony Konion US18650VTC6, 3120mAh, 30A max...

I'm really interested in this too..... AFAIK they don't replace housings. if warranty exists, you get a new unit. ….if not...…..

you can't ! you need to have warranty. @Ratchett @JCat ...then just a mod that keeps both parts (cu+heater) together will also do...!!

if anyone creates 3d printed housings,..... count me in for a couple. that's even worse than I thought it would be ...… no spare housing at all after warranty ?? WTF S&B !!! at least sell the parts that will break/wear-out. if anyone is creating (3D printing) housings …. count me...

… and sell some spare parts. just the parts ,without sending it in. to change the housing (if you have it) takes 3 minutes the most..... (and you don't need to have any electronics skills). btw. 2 years ago some said there would be aftermarket parts for it (when the warranty is over) like...

glad to see you finally did it. everyone should do this ,ones they opened their units. about the broken fins.... they will brake by themselves at some point in time due to the heat. (my old one did this) even the plastic around the oven which holds the cooling unit in place will chip/break...
