Where to buy...?

Ive been deliberating a vaporizer purchase for the last few weeks, and have finally settled on the arizer extreme Q as the one. From the website, the total costs including shipping and taxes is 270.00. Ive seen "the same" product on ebay with taxes and shipping in at around 200 bucks - a significant savings. So FC community, have any of you used a third party merchant to purchase your arizer vape? Anyone have any horror stories to convince me to buy direct from the manufacturer? Or perhaps a good ebay vendor you could recommend that you've used in the past with happy results. Let me know what you guys think, any and all advice is much appreciated.

Arizer is not fond of 3rd party companies unless they're authorized. Have you looked at the herbal aire? It does the same job but in a simplified version of the EQ

A lot of people here recommend strongly that you buy directly from the manufacturer or an authoriized dealer, and there are valid reasons for doing so. However, I've bought an EQ ($156) a solo ($136) and an Iolite ($99) from Amazon and have not had a problem with any of them. I've also bought a pre owned da buddha and MFLB for very cheap prices and they work great. Theres always a possiblilty any or all of these could blow up but I was willing to take that chance. My usual buying pattern is to read reviews and decide on an item and then shop based on price. I am not looking to be flamed, but that's just me.

To add to that, When I got my solo, it was from an unauthorized seller, and arizer still helped me out when I had chipping in my ceramic.
They may have updated their policies since then, but they were good to me :)

I also got my EQ off ebay for fairly cheap (I think it was around $160ish, but TBH I can't remember exactly how much it was) and haven't had any issues with it, though I don't use it all too often.

:2c:

(Oh, and Planetvape.ca are an authorized seller of arizer products  - and you can get their FC discount)

Might also be nice to look at the vendors who support this forum IMHO since they help keep this place open for us to exchange info.

You're taking a chance on whether or not you'll receive warranty support if you buy from an unauthorized dealer. For some vapes, that would be a deal breaker for me as warranty support is a wonderful thing :D

Lo,
I think PuffItUp is the best place to purchase from, unless you're Canadian and want PlanetVape's next day shipping. Both offer FC discounts.
PIU price matches plus they give an additional five percent off. It's worth e-mailing Randy at PIU to see what he can do. GotVape will price match to $150, PIU may go lower.
Also, the grinder PIU gives is pretty decent.

kingofnull,
thanks for all the tips guys. As a canadian myself Im more than happy to give my business to planetvape so thats what Im going to do. cant wait to get my new vape.

Dooleynoted,
Duly noted, Dooleynoted. Just make sure to get the best price from PlanetVape and don't forget the discount!
