    Concentrates for Noobs - Q&A

For the above just make sure the metal is stainless....even if it isn't on the heat long it doesn't matter; if it's metal that can't take a lot of heat or it's coated with something, you really don't want those fumes flying around.

    Errlectric Concentration Station

Just chiming in...have had my Errlectric for many years now and it still performs like day one. I still love being able to drop a dab in the coil cup while at the same time vaping dry flower...hope everyone has been well :)

    Concentrates for Noobs - Q&A

Not to mention static electricity can occur from fan blade movement through dust/particles. Unless you were in a clean room, static is a possibility. (Or if it is very humid in the room, you'd be safe from static). Not trying to bash you, just want good safety information out there. Very happy...

    Concentrates for Noobs - Q&A

I rosin press, then dissolve into shatterbatter, load into a prince cobra tank with smoant cylon mod, works awesome, no "odor" other than the flavor of the shatterbatter for discreteness in my non-friendly state.

    JoDa Glassworks

Ok, I've been gone for quite a while and don't know if anyone, included Joda, remembers me....but damn Joda, you've come a long way brother...I was here when you first started this, got some pieces from you and you did a repair on my Sterling Black (still going strong). I am very happy to see...

Custom Copper Nickel Vise and Arbor Jaws For Rosin Tech.

Yes Arbor Press you need to hold the handle...bench vise (what I use), no you don't need to hold the handle and I was pretty certain with your big rig that it could be done one handed with little effort!

    Rosin Technique....Easy DIY Solventless

I've actually dipped dry flower in distilled water, let it sit a few minutes, then press...no chlorophyll taste at all, but what @dabsonthemountain is pretty spot on...you need some moisture, but not too much...I would think the 62% boveda's would give you the right moisture content. Normally...

Custom Copper Nickel Vise and Arbor Jaws For Rosin Tech.

I know I'm not @BoogerMan but I can tell you with a vise, it's very easy and I don't have to hold the handle to keep pressure...I just ramp up the pressure gradually until I can't turn the vise any more and just leave it there until I pull it all out.

Custom Copper Nickel Vise and Arbor Jaws For Rosin Tech.

Snap! Damn @jg34 that was a great write up. People must think sometimes I'm in cahoots with @Joel W. since I prop his plates so much...no we are not, but a bro deserves props when his product is the tits!

    Rosin Technique....Easy DIY Solventless

I've said it before, less is more for the amount of flower being used...I use 2" square plates, so I ensure that the flower I'm pressing still has a lot of surface area plate around it...the squished nug should not exceed the edges of the heated plates. After the squish, there should still be...

    Rosin Technique....Easy DIY Solventless

I have both and exclusively use the vise now since I don't have it hard mounted and can move it wherever. I feel I get better squishes with the vise and @Joel W. plates as opposed to the c-clamp with hair straighteners that do not go below 300F so they were a pain to use just because of the temps.

@stressed just make sure your 3 year old flowers have the proper moisture prior to squishing.

    Rosin Technique....Easy DIY Solventless

@joe0508 like I said in my previous post to you that I think part of the problem is not enough pressure/using too big a nug...believe it or not, less is more with this technique. (meaning size of nug compared to plate size).

    Rosin Technique....Easy DIY Solventless

@joe0508 the nug should NOT cover the whole width of the ceramic

Welcome to FC @ddcbuds and strong first post...get to some squishing, lol.

    Rosin Technique....Easy DIY Solventless

I should've thrown that in as well...moisture content of your nugs is CRITICAL...no moisture, very little oil...the moisture content helps move the oil out IMHO. As far as yields?...I'm not sure about the relationship between THC content and such, but I have had several different types of flower...

    Rosin Technique....Easy DIY Solventless

@joe0508 try taking your parchment with nug in it, and wrap a second parchment around that...it may help some with the seepage you described. With the Irwin, you may need to go up a little in temperature because you probably aren't getting the same pressures than we see with bench vises, arbor...
