No the ceramic wick sits on top of the ceramic coil. The wires are from the bottom of the ceramic disc. So they don't touch each other.

Titanium heating wire plus titanium wick = some unstable resistance levels and will short out soon as you hit the button. It's not like we have not tried it.

trying it out has already been accomplished right before we introduced the Ti versions of the coils in the Herc. We came to the conclusion that the Ti coils hold a lot more then the Ceramic counterparts. I am not sure but i will know end of next week.

He has a 510 ego, the 8 uses a 510 mod or a 601 mod thread. Needs adapter to make it a EGO style cap.

As of right now we are out of NI dual coils for the globe. Kiss alpha Nibbler still in the works. If you have a 510 ego globe then you would need a 601 battery to 510 ego adapter to use that globe on the 8.
