The heater protector basket in place, yes. The VC is just another load. The cap becomes optional. I'm thinking a VC can solve the ease to access the load for a stir. Twice now the comment on stirring has been expressed as a less than optimum operation. It will need an o-ring or something to...

    Effects of bud vs trim

That icky sick feeling is paranoia. I get this from my one strain too on a first draw. I look forward to that dissipating within the half hour. After that, nada. The rest is just the pleasant high I look for and it is waning fast. Within a few hours the mind is straight albeit shifted and I...

Has anyone dropped a VapCap into the TM tube to see if it can act as a real-time heater. No CU's, basket screen only.

I might just have to grind one down to half-length. Now that sounds easy enough. I can see it now "DynaVoke - the One-Draw Power Vape" - featuring a shorter cap and chamber and reduced cooling fin length for a more compact vape specifically designed for micro-dosers. ...and it still fits the...

Well now... looks like George has a few things to think about for the '20-M. Thank you all for participating. And thanks to @pakalolo for the prudent pruning of minutia. I still want a half bowl option in the '20-M of some kind in SS We have a request for a Ti M-style bowl for '20-M And we...

    Stem Milk Soap Scum

Table salt is just a finer aggregate. Only tip for others is that the water in ISO will dissolve the salt so the water has to be saturated so course grains remain for scrubbing. I use to use sea-salt on bongs where smaller pieces would benefit from the finer medium of table salt.

Now that's a sad state... Put @Ramahs down for a fully functional Ti tip  although not specifically desired so maybe a Ti '19-M for the '20-M as your request? Interesting option.

    Weird stomach pain from vaping

Go tell a doctor. Yes, cannabis can affect your constitution fairly deliberately. However, acute effects are usually strain specific if not a foreboding medical warning. Some strains are known to suppress appetite for instance. You'd think those strains are changing physiology at some level...

    Making Draw Tubes... Flower Quince?

Not yet. Not worried about it. I'll get another one started in the 5-6" range. I'll add some 'heat beads'* to this one. I might turn you a long wooden one too. I have several long blanks ready to turn. I want to get good at using this Shellac so I can see some practice time coming up. I...

Salt and ISO for me on glass. People say it scratches. Never seen any clouding or damage. Salt will dissolve in the water which can be removed and you end up with stronger alcohol and salt aggregate. I don't want a film to hide stains, I want the stains gone. Normally one adds alcohol to...

How healthy is dry herb vaping?

It is hard to coax the best THC out of vaped herb. In my view so far (4 months in) is that the stuff that got us high while combustion are from the vape that is release at the edge of combusting. But I have another level of possibilities. I don't hear about this too often but it is my story...

    Dynavap VapCap

You wouldn't be the first @Slotheus and that's fine by me. As to the design of the Ti-tip, the 'enhanced' air flow of the grooves and the adjustable bowl. I want to pull back the load a bit from the cooling fins. I want a generous cavity on the other side of the screen to maintain good...

    Making Draw Tubes... Flower Quince?

The original stone-wood or is that wood-stone. I am liking this thin application of Shellac for finished stems. I added 800-grit sandpaper to the mix to keep the Shellac buildup at bay. I now have a clear stem for each of you. Diggy, what length would you like your replacement metal stem?

Without evidence or cause I refuse to draw in air from a device that includes heated titanium based on personal conviction. I am intimately familiar with commercially pure titanium and the fact that it is biologically inert. Titanium is considered a 'warm' metal in other realms. May all Ti...

    Dynavap VapCap

Maybe Dynavap needs to know that some people have peeves about heating titanium no matter what others say. Make both tips the same price and I'd still pick stainless in a heartbeat. Don't get me wrong. I use high grade Ti in design all the time. I handle titanium parts all the time. I just...

With any luck the '20-M will have the variable bowl notches like the Ti tip.

The term "slack" is meant as a specific connotation here of 'not being loose but not being under pressure' . Sorry if I wasn't clear. I noted the comment in another review regarding a little extra effort to stir the load. To me, this is a tweakable element. Interesting thought; if that screw...

This is a thought about the tube o-ring in general. Maybe my take can be confirmed - what if you left the o-ring slack by backing off the retaining ring? Does the draw tube become much easier to insert/withdraw? In that way, one could tighten the retaining ring for securing the draw tube for...
