@phattpiggie - thanks for the offer but do not do this my account. Stainless steel is also good about thermal resistance. I'm actually really surprised how well these clear uninterrupted stems work. And I tend to subscribe to your analogy of 'not all woods are safe' so we have little choice...

Being able to fully vape a VC on a single draw is a time-saver. The dripping wet sensation of such thick vapor is the goal of some, or for some occasions for others like me. I'm averaging 3 draws per cap to dark ABV. I've tried 10 and couldn't do it. 5-6 I could muster by really backing...

    Micro-dosing

My tolerance has climbed to vaping myself straight. The only reprise is a new farm which is also short-lived. Basically I get a 1/2-hr a day buzz and the rest goes to medicinal benefits. This has been the case while smoking and now, since Aug'19, vaping. Now body high - different story. I...

VapCap DIY Induction Heating : Bits 'n' pieces

Took 2 tries but not to shabby Needs a ton of Shoe-Goo and some wiring but I like it. The cell case is a tried and tested design. This is such a simple layout on a PC board! Size; 3-1/2" x 2-3/8" x 1-1/2" What do you think? ------------------------ I'm getting slow. The temp sensor on...

 This isn't for everyone of course. This is for those who don't like their current experience. My experience went from night to day and then some. I always 'hoped' for a decent draw every time I loaded a tip. Now the restricted draw is the outlier. Oh, dang, forgot... there is trick...

Trick 1 was to add the 'S'-spacer to the cap so the fin clears and the rim of the bowl.

It is a CCD that is convex instead of concave. @RustyOldNail hit the nail on the head. Basically maintain the cone shape when you remove the CCD and put it back in so the cone points towards you. Use a 5/16 tube to install. Easy removal for cleaning without deformation but won't blow out or...

    COVID-19 transmission concerns?

We have a pair of recumbent trikes waiting for a cruise when the weather clears up. Streets are barren.

If you're dangerous with a soldering iron, you could get parts to hold you over. I didn't get this VC screen trick until recently. I thought heck, 10%, go for it... but no... :disgust:

We can do that indeed. Here's the shout-out for makers "HEY MAKERS!"

VapCap DIY Induction Heating : Bits 'n' pieces

Radio Shack  I'm of the same mechanical ilk as you when it comes to making a living. Its mostly wiring harnesses laid down on fiberglass and untangled. Components are little black magic boxes filled with encapsulated smoke that pump juice in various ways. Just about everything in...

VapCap DIY Induction Heating : Bits 'n' pieces

:brow: I've never been able to justify an oscilloscope. I'm dangerous enough with electronics. Right now the housing is just enough to make it safer in the pocket. Utilitarian in that it will finally be a one-piece handheld unit. Need to add a few features but I'm on the right track. If you...

I'm the oddball here and proud of it. But if this interests you, I have another trick that could just blow you away - or give you the right to call me out.

VapCap DIY Induction Heating : Bits 'n' pieces

Nono! Sorry - I mean the current draw on your current modified coil should be a little less than mine, by maybe 10% by uncoiling each end coil. The vapcap is also a 'load' in the sense since that is part of the circuit. You wouldn't notice 10% variation. I don't have the tools to do any...

    COVID-19 transmission concerns?

I just envisioned a peloton of cyclists. I hope my 2-wheeled buddies aren't being stupid. That's a fucking rolling virus train.

For what its worth, my '18-M use to restrict more on the first cooling click. My solution - Didn't want to file the '18 - this also provides a little clearance at the fins.

I hear that. But we could add it as optional side-grade #4. @YaMon - I will have one but the idea is not for Villa, it is for anyone that does aftermarket gadgets for vapes. None of what I suggest takes anything away from the TM. But we all customize when we can. That is where I'm coming from.

We were discussing the need, or possibly not needing a seal at the circuit board and the chamber. I was only trying to give some input to that discussion. I still suggest a thin silicone seal could be incorporated to seal off the electronics for those who have aversion to this.

-When- Allison gets her stock I'll have one. And you know I'll be putting a probe right on that. As well as understanding the heater sub-assembly.

For those needing levity and a look at what a distant future may hold for humanity, might I suggest a YouTube author Isaac Arthur and Science and Futurism channel.
