Had to look that up  No, was teasing. I never thought than in a million years I could get a VC to take a cap to dark ABV in a single draw. That bet I would have lost.

VapCap DIY Induction Heating : Bits 'n' pieces

The brick is 19v @ 3.5 amps or 66 watts so it is under powered for a full power IH. It will be a little under powered at full output. Good enough to get some data out of this regulator. I was running at 60 watts on the first build based on wire resistance. The reason regulation is useful is...

is tinymight a portable logvape (does it eat more?) ?

Well, the why is with the OP of this thread but my main reason for my original mental exercise was so that the stem would not have to come out to load a new bowl. And it is an on-demand log after all. You won't outdraw 70 watts or even 50 watts. Now that I've had some time to absorb the...

TM is 70 watts with temp control. It'll keep up as a real time convection vape.

I had once mentioned using the TM as a log. But that included the VONG (?) removable stem. The one thing it needs is a seal between the TM and the Vong. A Vong could be a VapCap tip but the stem would need to make the seal. I am very interested in trying this when I get a TM.

VapCap DIY Induction Heating : Bits 'n' pieces

Don't have Makita stuff to test. ... Oh look what landed today... the regulator! What timing! 输入 means input :\ I wired a 19V brick to the converter. It seems to have an under-sized coil compared to those in the images. But it puts out power and the IH didn't freak out. Regulation sucks...

VapCap DIY Induction Heating : Bits 'n' pieces

Yes, 8.4v on the peak. About 10 seconds to the first click. Charge is good for several days. Replace cells for charge. No voltage indicators. Heating will lag when cells get too low, and the protection circuit will kick in if you continue to ignore the cells. I'm really happy with this...

VapCap DIY Induction Heating : Bits 'n' pieces

11.3v is a good delivery. Yea, poor connections can do weird things. Current limiting the IH, rather, power starving an IH is a way to manage output. It is hard on the power supply though. I'm pulling 5 amps with just 2 cells so the voltage drop is significant from those 5A sources.

The more open you make the inlet air, the more vape escapes the oven during cooking. Fine balance. Of course, mine doesn't escape because I'm already drawing on the straw.

VapCap DIY Induction Heating : Bits 'n' pieces

Yes, the supply is putting out the right voltage without a load. But what if you put a 6 amp load on it? That you can do by measuring the voltage input at the IH PCB. Read the voltage without the VC inserted and then with the VC inserted. Did the voltage suddenly drop or remain the same? If...
