Over current. Look for a connection problem on the input side that may be failing at around 6 amps but function at under 2 amps. When first turned on, mine reset. Didn't know what was going on but considered the capacitor charging fully. Only did this the one time on each IH I have.

Not exactly. The air port is an air bleed to balance the back-pressure from the bowl. If the bowl was clogged, the air port would make no difference. With an easy drawing tip, the air port could be opened more for the same mix of air and vape. It's a vape density regulator if you will.
