It's been common knowledge for a while that the omicron persei series uses m601 threads. Thus it won't work on 510 without a commonly available adapter. Or you could buy a nice product with a lifetime warrenty and support a great company in California, up to you

Did you lock it out? Try pushing five times quickly EDIT: I know what you mean, that flash doesn't always happen if you switch batteries quickly. If you leave the head without power for a while then put in a new battery it should flash...
