Nope 7.4v and 700mah * 60minutes = 42,000ma-minutes divided by 15 minutes is 2,800ma = 2.8 amps 7.4v * 2.8a= 20 watts :clap: So it should be about the same as hitting two mflb's simultaneously, very nice!

Charring at 383 isn't that good, unless you turned it up above 400 before hand. If the rod in the center is the exposed ceramic heater, that would certainly explain the hotspots... Hopefully I'm wrong though

I don't understand this. The new tops for the v2 are 7.4v. The new Persei top is variable voltage and a herb cart. So you went and bought yourself an $85 3.7v battery tube with no warranty? Also that battery is humurously over-rated, check out the comments at the bottom...

Stronger heater wire? I don't know if that's such a good idea unless we can clean the carts in iso or something. Half the time I switch to a new cart when the old one is still working, it just tastes like shit from all the build up. Good if price doesn't jump but otherwise I kind of like the...

As always it's up to you, but I still think you should make sure pulsing at 7.4v isn't too slow before you pull the trigger...

Yeah I just went through the same thought process. It might take a bit to get used to at first, but maybe it would be easier eventually? But I'm still leaning towards the momentary switch though because at high voltages you pulse more often than you hold it down...
