I got this torch today Seems well constructed, feels good in the hand, but it sputters out on command, as soon as the flame is pointed straight down. The cheaper Honest does better, and the fuel level is visible, unlike this one. Oh well, it was only $4....

My D020 has an imperfection like that too. It seems to me more like a fracture one would see in a crystal, rather than a crack. To me a crack implies movement, where a fracture is stable, a defect inside the structure. Mine hasn't changed a bit. I'm no expert - just theorizing. Maybe a glass...

So, yeah, a matrix/sidecar/"normal" mouthpiece.....sounds good to me! But, as good as a D020 - FC sounds, I think getting a consensus would be like herding cats :lol:

Simple, really. The WPA kinda fits into the bowl. All it needs is a little material around the sides to make a seal. If the WPA had a piece of tubing around the tapered bit, I think it would work.

So, I've got this big "Gandalf" style pipe someone gave me, but I have no use for it. Then I remembered somebody posting about using silicone over the WPA to make it fit. Tried wrapping a rubber band around it, it works, kind of. What size silicone tube would I need? Where could I get a small piece?

I agree, there's some level, but it's marginal, or maybe it's consistent with the price? My D020 has bubbles, a spot, etc, but it's sturdy and functional. I think it's a probably good example of their average quality.
