Yeah, it seems to provide a good amount of diffusion for the Lotus, but I really love the view from the driver's seat. I can watch the perc and the plate really well, but my face is farther from the torch.

I got the smaller one for that. Originally held my D020, now it's gongs, stems, nails and adapters. Doesn't come with foam though. Oh, and if you go, make sure to get a 20% off coupon.

I got a 14/18 male from an ebay seller. I just place it in the GoG loosely, hasn't stuck yet. Definitely retains heat a LONG time. The "heat to white" feature is useful occasionally. Also scraping with a metal tool will leave marks (on mine). I can only compare mine to a glass nail/dome...

Only because people are used to inflated prices. The material and labor isn't that expensive, it's just turned on a lathe. They document the source of their Ti. The "knockoffs" don't. Also, they are a legitimate business, doing other CNC work.
