Weird I must have ordered my herc before you switched back to 71style adapter I got the sr74x but with the spring loaded bottom adapter I was able to get a groove filed into my 71 adapter last night and very happy so far with it

Very happy with my sr71 and core the constant voltage is awesome I was wondering what are some of your favorite settings for the sr71 and sr74x on the core?

I know, that's why i came here and asked opinions on the best way to make it work before id ordered. I did get a few suggestions but not that i could just buy the damn good one. Shit happens i guess, I've got it working for now and yea next time i order I'm sure ill be adding the proper 71...

id rather not have to place another order i just bought the 71 and core (they arrived a few hours ago) and i had asked about using them with the nibbler a few times before ordering and was never told the compatible ones were available or id have ordered it at the same time guess ill just diy it...

is it possible to put the sr71 bottom adapter screws in the sr74 bottom adapter instead of the spring loaded ones? id rather do that if its possible than have to cut grooves in the 71 adapter for o-rings

With the core inserts is it possible to swap tubes so it matches my red top? the black tube looks the same as my red one. was also wondering if the insert tube is supposed to have an accent ring, i put my red one on just so it looks better for now.

on my w9 tester 7.4 kiss read around 2.33 To test with a probe multimeter you need to set it to read ohms and put one probe on the threads and the other on the contact pad on the bottom of the kiss

Hey I'm going be buying an sr71 and core soon (would have already but need to add a few more$ to my card) was wondering is it possible to put the non spring loaded screw contacts from the 71 bottom adapter and put them in my 74 adapter and use the nibbler on both in that way?

Considering buying the core and an sr-71 to add to my w9 tool kit. One thing about the 71 I'm not sure about, it says the bottom insulator is not compatible with the nibbler xl is there any way to fix that I've become very fond of my nibbler xl and don't wish to use the herc without it

the only way i know of buying just a top is if you buy the hammer top, that being said many users do say the hammer top is a bit better than the currently available v3 tops you get with a full persei kit

I find myself picking up my herc and doing extra cool downs every few minutes after a hit or any time a friend hits it even if they did a cooldown ocd I guess Or I'm a lil obsessed
