    Concentrates for Noobs - Q&A

IM not worried about going any lower I was just unsure if adding multiple layers of filtering or doing multiple separate filtrations would be worth it or is the 10 micron enough alone Edit: also to clarify a bit I'm currently using a 1000ml Buchner flask and 90mm Büchner funnel for vaccum filtering

the titanium coils work great in both hercs you can swap almost everything around the one exception is the spring loaded bottom insulator can't be broken down and swapped to the non spring loaded design ( I asked ThcScientific that myself and was told it wouldn't work ) If you don't like the...

Actually the problem with putting the more powerful 71 rod in a 74/74x is the heat generated would be too much and would ruin the springs in the spring loaded bottom insulator and center pin of the 74/74x

With the herc I do prefer the 71 many users say the spring loaded 74x is easier to maintain but I dissagree I prefer the interference fit of the 71 center pin/rod and greatly prefer the 71 style non spring loaded bottom insulator I haven't tried 2 coils I prefer to load just enough on top of...

71 has solid screw based adjustments in the bottom adapter, press fitting on the center post, non threaded cap, and the rod runs the hottest at 1.5-1.7 ohm 74 was spring loaded bottom insulator, spring loaded center pin, a threaded top cap and a rod at about 2.4 ohm 74x is Back to the solid...

    Gear Micron steel mesh?

I use a 10 micron from 316t cut to fit a Buchner funnel with a #1 lab filter on top and a Buchner vacuum filtering flask to catch all my ethanol seems to work really well and 316t even included some free 25 micron screens with my order very nice company to deal with

I thought I'd prefer bigger loads as well witch led to my first few months having a lot of leaking and reclaiming and frustration with inconsistent performance but I eventually settled into a nice routine I usually load a small amount once a day or once every other day depending on use the...

@spoutti how much do you load at a time ? I used to have a lot of confusion and random wispy hits but once I started loading less at a time I can get the huge rips off any battery or the core I only add about .2 at a time Edit : I worded this terribly but what I'm saying is when I started...

I would say it's normal properly adjusted at the factory is not the same as as properly adjusted after a few hours of heating up, expanding, then cooling and wiggling loose id be willing to bet some things have shifted

Honestly I think the nibbler is the best spent money I've put out for any accessory I love seeing how much thicker the vapor is and use it to dial in exactly what I want from my hit and haven't had a single leak since even handing it to inexperienced users tho that might be my constant reminders...

@BradEllis you can buy the bottom adapter right from w9tech.com I'm assuming probably with a certain number of the 1$ repair options and a note in the comments box

My sr74 runs 2.46 my sr71 runs 1.69 The w9 calculator puts the sr74 at 22.26 watts the sr71 at 32.3 watts for 7.4v These would be an approximate setting since the rods do vary in resistance you'd be best set up by testing your own rods resistance
