This is pretty much exactly how I use mine.......only thing I'll add is that I use the large basket, fill it with fluffy herb, tamp that down a bit, fill the void with more fluffy herb, tamp that down and then go to town. My results are very consistent...in a real good way.

I don't own a j-hook, but at first glance this setup looks awkward with how it angles off the MV, but then I grabbed my MV and tilted it while laid out on the couch. I see the potential now.;) My go-to method of the glass straw with a bit of tubing to the nipple of the lid is still my all time...

I like having the SS liner in mine with one caveat......I wish it were wider for less air restriction. Same circumference as the Flexicone nipple opening would suffice.

Both the TcMV and GcMV have the 'newest' heater cores. Your not buying 'old' when or if you decide on the Teflon core.

A few posts ago he mentioned what it was.....the Lotus WPA. I'm also intrigued by that despite being one of the lucky few that have the Delrin adapter.

That's what I kinda thought you were alluding to. I'll just repeat what @MinnBobber said. Technique. Take longer draws. Vary it length wise and see if you notice improvement. You should.

Could you clarify that comment? Two of your own posts ago you said you got 20 hits with good clouds?. I wasn't sure what you meant with that comment either to be honest.

Ditto here. If you read any of my comments throughout this thread when I gave advice on my draw technique it was/is and always will be steady long slow draws for best results.

I'll join in on the unanimous thinking that the flexicone can be used for a lot longer than the recommended usage. I'm still using the one I started with last August. I do have several back-up's just in case though.

When I read your previous post re: VN response to you about returns, I knew their response could be interpreted numerous ways......now we know. This is a quicker way by far vs VN.

I'm sure you have already, but just in case as minnbobber said, double check that the power adapter plug is inserted firmly.....
