I'm sure in your conversation with Hermes you have brought up adapters as a topic. Have they ever shown or mentioned any serious interest at all in making another lid that would resemble the Delrin adapter as an option?

Yes yes and yes on this. The Delrin adapter, glass j-hook and the MV are the perfect match for dry hitting. On 'green' I can hit it dry with medium or large basket till it's spent and heat never is an issue unlike my glass straw that loses it's cooling effect much much sooner.

We didn't wait ;). The WonG, SonG or Delrin adapters combined with a glass J-hook cools amazingly well. Better than my Crafty. I know it's not built into or part of the lid of the MV, but still.

I've mentioned it before, but I mostly tend to hit it dry at the blurple color and rarely venture any higher temp wise. I'm quite content here at this temp and with a glass j-hook and @Ratchett attachement (which replaced Ed's WonG.....aka my lid destroyer) and just go for my flavor train ride...
