    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

As you now presumably know (thanks SM), the numbers are sufficiently close. No one is pretending about anything. You obviously haven't understood my posts. I do acknowledge the concerns. What I have suggested is maintaining proportional perspective, i.e., keeping in mind the actual number and...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

If I gave the impression that they were, then my wording my faulty. As a broad generalization, sequential order numbers tend to approximate shipments, except with back-orders and when an allocation system is being used (such as when a Cloud and HT have to be mated for an order to be compete)...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

A couple months ago he made some comparisons of the Cloud to S&B's new Plenty, in that thread. The short of it was that he sees the Cloud - with the caveat of presuming beta issues were addressed - as the best direct draw vape with the Plenty "pretty close".

The #49 is the serial number, assigned in production sequence. If you received yours among the earliest shipments with a 304 order number, that indicates that pre-orders upon conversion to real orders had order numbers allocated at that time. But if you received yours recently, that suggests...

    Yes, it was. And yes.

Of course it's not a shocker. Did you forgot that I suggested that you would probably want to do just that - precisely for the "can't take this" reason? The 4% is not BS. There have been about a dozen actual Cloud/HT failures. About 300 shipped. Do the math. And the fact remains it's...

Bummer. Time to log a support ticket.

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

I've never heard of a noise from vibrating wires. But besides electrical controller components (eg., VR's, chokes), expansion/contraction of materials such as ceramics can emit noises.

Good suggestion. I'll do that. Thanks.

Thanks. I need a straight male-male, though. Couldn't find one on that site.

Well, I did do that. Still fishing for an excuse . . . I know, the Cloud obscured my vision. :p

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

Just a moment please while I wipe the egg from my face . . . damn it, I looked on ALT. Of course, searching for "18mm male adapter" returns >1100 items (ALT's search sucks IMO). I saw everything BUT these. Maybe my eyes just glazed over by the time I got up to around 500. Anyway, yea, thanks...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

If moving something makes the noise change immediately, that usually means it's pressure related. A noise that changes as a constant proportionally to the heat setting (like the Cloud) is usually a voltage regulator. A (garden-variety) brick that makes a noise is usually due to a failing...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

By any chance ever come across an 18mm male-to-male adapter? I haven't been able to find one. I'm curious to try my HT with my Q for comparison to the Cloud. It's not really apple-to-apples using the whip. Of course I already know the outcome in general, but I think it might be interesting to try.

I was just playing with the words there. You can of course leave it on the Cloud. But I agree with stickstones, safer to leave it off when not in use.

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

@Seek - That's very imaginative, my hats off to you. A month ago I might have been inclined to try it. But now I have the Cloud so . . . well, you know. (But my Q is still in service for bag socials and just for occasional variety.)

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

Well, I guess if it sits on the Cloud "too" long, then yes, it will get warm. But not "too" warm though. :) I use ice cold water which chills the HT. It loses its chill not so much from sitting on the Cloud as from the vapor moving through it. By the end of the session it's at room temp...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

Inside the joint itself, I haven't yet had any build-up and I'm not sure there is going to be any. Where there is a little resin build-up is just below the joint, which is exactly where the bottom of the ELB is. The glass widens a wee bit at that point into a section ~5/8" deep before it narrows...

Good, thanks for the clarification. I'm glad I was mistaken. Again, my apologies. I'm not going to pour back over the posts. The pattern has seemed to be one of jumping on every little complaint as if it were significant. I'm not the only one who has gotten this impression. But if I'm...

Sure, fine with me. Naw, I didn't think that at all. Careful. Now here IMO is the borderline. In one of your previous reply posts to another member, you also implied that those not seeing the imperfections as you do were "fanboys". Let's remember this is a two-way street. Derogatory...
