    Gear "Oil Slick" products REVIEWED

I just received an email the other day from Kristopher at oil slick letting me know they plan to re-release a new and improved version of the slick sheet... I don't know specifics but I hope it is easier to work with than the original. The original is definitely a step up from scraping pyrex...

    Cheaper alternatives to bubble bags

I have a set of the Ipower bags. They're on amazon for like 20 bucks for the set of 4 and are really sturdy. All you need is a work bag, a 73 or 90 micron, a 25 micron and the straining screen so don't worry about getting the set of 8... you'll just have bags sitting around.

    Drying

The general consensus for drying bud is chop plant and hang dry until the stems snap when bent... so pretty dry. Then, as smokey said, for maximum potency and flavor the herb should be cured slowly over time by burping mason jars loosely filled with buds. If youre buying your stuff wet you...

    The Magic-Flight Box

It should be totally air dried to the point that if you put it in your grinder your grinder isn't getting stuck and if you try to break off a chunk of bud it sort of snaps off. I agree with poonman on the finger thumb final grind... if you skip this step you lose out on a lot of your trench...

A good option for heating the pad is a griddle. You can get them for pretty cheap and you can adjust your purge temps for different consistancies of oil. Keep the purge twmps below 200 if you dont want to affect the potency of your oil.

    Da Buddha

That's pretty sweet did 7th floor make that for you?

    Da Buddha

Yeah as long as there is a metal on metal connection between the prong, wire and outlet it will work. You could just cut the plug (with a foot of cable) off something 3 pronged that's broken or that you'll never use again or even the end of an extension cord and cut your Da Buddha cable, strip...

    Da Buddha

The third prong is not necessary for use but is there for safety and is used on objects with a metal casing that plug into the wall. If high voltage somehow comes in contact with the casing of your da buddha (like a worn out wire inside your vape touching the casing) and you were to touch it...

    Da Buddha

When I first got my Da Buddha the heating element had fallen down into the electronics housing and I had to pull it back up out of there... you're fine

    Da Buddha

Yeah 91 is fine. Yeah soak it as long as you need to to free up all the wand hash. Any heat source will speed the process but you can just leave it out at room temp for a few days. Yes oil is more potent because there is no plant material mixed in with the resin but if you don't dab it might not...

Or you can just clean it with iso alcohol and leave the alcohol out in a dish over a low heat source to evaporate. I've never tried if but I bet if your pour the iso/hash through a coffee filter a few times you'd end up with some decent oil.

Mine is the same way I just use the side thats smooth. Anyone know if they discontinued the slick sheet? I can't find it for sale anywhere online and they don't have it in their list of products on the website.

    Da Buddha

I've had my da Buddha for a few years now he's a real trooper. I finally got a ground glass connection for him and the vapor is so smooth out of the bong. Anyone using that new ti nail setup 7th floor just put out? Looks like you could dab while you're vaping herb if the temps dialed in right.

    Help me choose a portable?

I love my mflb. You could get 4 launch boxes for the price of the pax but you wouldn't need to cause they've got a lifetime warranty no matter where you buy it. It's perfect for what you are describing... you just push the battery in, draw, let the battery out and it shuts off. Perfect for...

Thanks for the review. I didn't realize the slick sheet was different than the slickpads I'm about to order one right now to blast into... no more scraping! This company has made life so much easier. Love these guys!
