The All In One Plus Solo Accessory Package (AIO+)

You may have very well have been. Great idea and ended up having a ton of possibilities. Have to admit I bit off quite the hunk with the magnetic switches. They are a LOT of work getting it right in the one shot deal once poured. Lots of wasted product so decided to pack that option in...

OK, took a few quick pics. Click the image below for a slide show. BTW, that was a QC test for the new elbows. Us guys and our lego... The slide shows only has a couple pictures of the single LED stand but hey, it's just an LED...many colours available. IMO, the more fun unit is the rainbow one...

In addition to OF's post, I routinely divide the session into 2, 10 minute sessions. To go out for lunch at work it's a 10 minute drive to the plaza, (@level 5) and a 10 minute drive back, (@level 6). Generally a good cool down between. The trip back is just as filling, should I say, as the...

They are saying pretty much as expected. The "If you cannot turn on to heat up while charging right now" means if you have an older model. And if so, the power adapter can be used as it always was. The first line is saying about the new models and the change to "charge and vape" functionality...

Pretty much the same response I got. Never posted because of the way he describes left over voltage and such did not make a lot of sense so decided not to add to the confusion. As OF points out, charging has to do with current flow, not voltage. Yes, quite different from his response back when...

I don't think super glue with cut it in this case. Like car windshields, it's a special formulation glue that generally is forced into the crack under pressure. Cutting is likely the only sure way to prevent the crack from continuing. You can always use a longer drip tip or extend the length...

All is not lost. (yet) You can cut the top portion off and heat treat the end for a smooth lip. No trouble with drip tips here. Think it depends on the fit as they vary slightly from tip to tip. As does the glass rim.

Wow, expensive. Guess it would work but paying alot for that solar panel. Why not kill 2 birds with one stone. And keep it a justifiable purchase. Something like an Emergency power kit. They come in many different shapes and such. No questions on the purchase and can feel good about making a...

Since it's basically programming, I think you got a smarter unit? Agree, need more folks confirming this. Some current consumption information from external supply while heater is on would tell how much power is used to assist or take over for the heater. When your heater light stops flashing...

Yes, we did discuss this and no definitive conclusion on what is happening when the battery is fully charged. Arizer has stated two different statements in this regard. IMO, in theory and some supported evidence leans toward the unit works with old PA when battery is detected as not needing a...

Hmmm, you sure there Q?...lol. Kinda reminds me of an argument I had with a chap that lived by the airport and tried to tell me more planes landed than would take off. Still insisted he was right even after I asked where they stored the extra...:uhh: Unless your another one who stuffs the wrong...

That is a frustrating way to use for sure. It reminds me of bad connection type problems I've had using in PA mode. I would not be so fast to rule out the battery though. If the battery is having a hard time delivering the power to the heater, the Solo will interpret it as a low battery and turn...

Interesting thoughts NN. I don't have the new model (yet..) and can't confirm what's going on. Kevin's letter has some hints for sure but the "bypassing the battery completely" maybe a little misleading but would be nice for sure. Although as @OF has tested, the PA supply must be very close to 9...

The Solo doesn't turn off when the external power is disconnected until it finishes it's heating cycle. However, I believe it likely changes it'd power routing internally somehow and switches to battery to complete so it adds to the battery consumption there as well. A block diagram of the...

Very good to hear this confirmation. Confirms the points you mentioned as well as the possibility of the PA kicking in at full battery level as well. Stepping back to what the battery powers verses the external supply is very interesting. The fact that, even with old units in true PA operation...
