Yes and it's good you got 6g before it did! Cleaning will not turn it white. As long as you can still see the pores of the ceramic it shouldn't feel too clogged.

So I'm not sure if my aw imr is dying but ever since I tried a new S2 ceramic screen the FV has been running MUCH cooler. I can preheat for longer than my whole hit with a broken s2 piece! I think the center arms are pretty much necessary to reflect some of the heat.

I keep mine in my pocket and travel in the same car with non-mj friends with no issues

Yeah exactly, the Pax has a battery that "isn't replaceable" but 1 screw and some soldering says otherwise. The Inh is even easier It would be very enthusiast-friendly if the Ascent had normal phillips screws, and battery springs like the Inh rather than spot welds :tup:

Yeah I like Super Lube (funny name lol) but I still have to wipe and reapply every few weeks because it does get dirty (starts clear, ends up black) But like you said they're heavy duty threads and we use them so much, they really need something to protect them from each other

For delicate threads, or expensive things I really don't want to strip, I like to gently hold the screw/cap against the threads and turn the opposite way (don't screw it on) until you hear and feel the the screw/cap fall down off the end of the threads. At that point you know you can start...

Same thing happened to me! I was hoping they didn't ship them all in those memory card cases, I think the problem is the foam is only on one side so the ceramic can hit the plastic. It needs to be sandwiched in foam it's so delicate... I think it develops micro-fractures or something, mine...

If you have a tiny torx #5* bit and can solder to the tabs that you had spot welded on the battery... (*T4 thanks, I just use a flathead but it messes up the screw a bit)
