For small loads I use the ELB setup. Works great and no herb tornado. I also pull a little slower at the beginning. Or you can add a second screen to capture the herb. Just place it at the bottom of the female joint.

I vote for an Underdog but I would also suggest contacting @stickstones . He can get you sorted on what works best for certain applications. A wealth of knowledge.

It does help with visible vapor production.
