Maybe the oils from the butter transfer the heat better than the wood? Kinda like a wet towel will heat up faster than a dry towel?

Thanks for the explanation! The hardwood coals look wayyyyyy more consistent judging from the picture. Nothing wrong with a few tweeks. I was wondering why it was so quite in here. Hope you find the hardwood coals produce better/more consistent results!

I can confirm that the 14mm female SonG works GREAT! I've been using it with my bubbler. It can't hold the weight of the Dog but I always hold mine anyway so it's not a big deal to me. Perfect for 1 or 2 big rips to get medicated. Thanks @Ratchett for making it come to life! :science:
