I no longer stress over having to pull a CCD @kenske . Not over-centering these thing makes a huge difference. I wonder if this could keep Ti CCD's from shrinkingas well. The only Ti CCD I had came with the Ti tip and on removing it, it shrank a lot. Went from concave in the bottom to dead flat.

Under-rated wires are known as resistors. The PA only provides 24 watts. I suppose that should be the real limit. 18 watts is my sweet spot.

When I become QC due to corporate decisions on a 'try it and see' basis, I expect a reduced price-point. The responsibility to prove fault is on the user. That is not at all reflected in the price-point of Orion.

Scorching is pretty much complete. A very shallow lead-in chamfer 8-10mm deep will minimize the scorching on the lip of the cup. Shrinkage is a real concern depending on how hot your coil gets.
