If I remember correctly, the Pinnacle Pro had a plastic taste to start out but it went away. I don't recall ever having a plastic taste with the Crafty. This is probably a more pronounced plastic taste than the PnP had but I don't think it tastes like burnt plastic.

I've never liked using a pad with the Crafty...it just seemed to make the vapor hotter and sharper tasting. Perhaps I'll try the Prima without.

Isn't Crafty more like the Prima? I would never get that many draws out of a Crafty either. Will have to experiment more later.

My initial reaction is lukewarm. Heat-up time crushes the Crafty. Less than 30 seconds to first temp and only a second or two to bump to the next temp. It has a bit of a plastic taste on the first go-round but I can tell it will be tasty. The fourth temp is definitely warmer than the Crafty...

The new Prima has arrived and is charging! Should the air path tube be smooth on the mouthpiece end? Mine looks a bit jacked-up (not so much so that there is no flow but it looks like it was crushed a bit and a little fell off--so the end isn't smooth but has an imperfection).

This is strange to me; I don't think I've ever gotten anywhere near combustion with the ESV. Just nice crispy brown abv.
