I thought I was starting to dial this thing in but I'm getting frustrated. When fully charged, it seems to go to sleep too fast. I charged it and then turned it on and took an aggressive 2-3 second pull to prime it. I then waited 8-10 seconds and pulled again, much more slowly (very slowly). It...

I formed mine around a AA battery. Just shove it in and friction seems to do the trick (making sure that the newly formed "walls" are down into the circular lip that the old screen went into).

Totally agree with @Roth. I have two Anker and they have been excellent.

The process spelled out by @ren.dnb helped a bit. That priming draw with the delay is getting me more vapor and effect but I still have tweaking to do.

The stock mouthpiece is a bit wobbly. I don't think it impacts performance. And...the Crafty kicks ass. Mine is a few days short of a year old but I'm a light user (30 hrs).

DOH!!!! Might have been on one. Pulled the mouthpiece and tried again on four. I didn't see it light up but could certainly feel the heat. Still not much in the way of vapor on four.

Interesting. I tried that. No coil glow. I'm assuming it should be as obvious as the ESV coil but I'm not seeing anything. This is with a fully charged battery and inhaling for up to 5 seconds (MFLB native style on the hole where the mouthpiece goes).

The grind is more fluffy than powdery. I'm trying not to pull super hard but the thing likes to go nighty-night on me if I pull at a rate I would consider "medium" (as the manual suggests) for the Crafty/ESV.

Sorry, folks. I've read through this thread but much of it was before I had the FW3 in my hot little hands. Are there key points to dialing this thing in? With three sessions, I've gotten some vapor but the effects are minimal. This strikes me as strange because the ABV is as brown as the ESV...
