Sticker? Looks more like stickers, as in 3 of 'em. Call me narrow, but IMO that piece is ugly.

Thanks for posting that. The logo is much more classy and stylish.

Logos of premium brands tend to be well designed but discreet even under-stated, certainly not garish. The inference is that premium brands don't need to loudly proclaim their identity or say "hey, look at me"; they are simply "recognized" by the uniqueness and character of the product, with...

My favorite HT is the HydraLine. I really like inlines anyway, the HL is better protected against water leakage, and with ice the vapor is smooth as silk. I also when the occasion calls for something special, use one of my Mobius bubblers. If big hitting friends are over, I bring out a...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

@DDave, I can't recall a mod generating so much interest and enthusiasm as your has this past month or so. You should start a fan club.

Speculation, speculation, so much speculation. :D Tell ya what: I'll test whatever VXL sends, however VXL wants it tested. Then when I have done the extra thorough job that loyalty to FC members demands, I'll give the thumbs up. I figure that should take me, oh I dunno, at least 2 or 3...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

Egzoset, oh my, oh my . . . I didn't mean to cause such a dust-up. My apologies. Just to clarify, I was only sharing that it was my understanding that the Tower was originally designed as a multi-purpose machine like the Q. I got the impression you thought that it may have not been originally...

I guess we must be reading a different thread. :D I don't see anyone bragging or flaming or saying ha-ha. I see folks excited about the prospect of knowing now when they will be doing the beta testing; after all, that is one of the primary perqs which they contributed for. I see others...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

If there had been any even perceived harm, in these litigious days it's hard to believe there would not have been a lawsuit by somebody. And that info would have spread quickly, to be sure. Furthermore, retailers are especially sensitive to risks and reputation, were there a problem the...

But that's OK, we're all obsessive masochists anyway (wasn't that a prerequisite?). :science: :mental: :bang:

VXL doesn't need hundreds of opinions from who knows whom. That's not a controlled beta, that's a mess. The EVO beta test is specifically for fine tuning variables, not for making or altering fundamental functional design decisions. A manageable number of known users should do the job just fine.

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

I'm doubtful that Arizer follows this thread. But if you have a question for Kevin, he has been responsive to my emails in the past. IIRC if you open the unit, that voids the warranty. Are you quite sure the Tower was initially designed for aromatherapy and later converted to a vape??? As...

I can hardly stand it. Someone confirm/correct me on this . . . I have a faint memory that the beta units will be retained by the Fanatics after completion of testing. Or is this my imagination being over-active?

I think you may be mixing apples and oranges. There were 2 predominate problems, one electro/mechanical and the other in software. My memory may be rusty on @mvapes' unit in particular, but other owners have opened and worked on theirs, myself included. The electro/mechanical problem was with...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

So you mean the "short whip" that connects the glass fitting (with the o-rings) to the bag with the glass elbow. Personally I shorten that whip to a couple inches - just enough to get both glass pieces in - and I get very little build-up. (It helps a lot to use silicone tubing.) If I were to...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

You should not need to go that hot. How big a load are you using? And might it be possible to post pics of your ABV from both vapes? Assuming this is the thread you meant to post in (vs the SSV thread), if you are using the Cyclone bowl then you need a GonG joint, like the Q glass elbow or...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

Just to clarify my earlier post a bit . . . The Q closely meets the layman definition of a cash cow, and that's usually quite desirable for a company. The Q's main development cost was expensed long ago. There is an on-going fixed cost to support the product, but by now that too is mostly...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

:shit: Dogshit? I'll take that as a rather, er, imaginative metaphor to make a point. IMO functionality and being aesthetically pleasing are not mutually exclusive, and with most high-end products, is expected and taken as a sign of quality. The more broad the appeal of the EVO, the better...

That sure doesn't look like the polycarbonate we saw during the campaign, does it? This looks like a fiber composite of some sort, perhaps molded and brushed? Whatever is chosen, I would think that a commercial uniform finish would be important.
