You did remember that you get to keep your existing Cloud(s)? And the campaign Eagles come with a 2-yr warranty rather than the standard 1-yr? Upgrade 1 and you'll have your 2 Clouds for back-ups. Upgrade both and you're pretty much set for life. :D

Can't say about taking it apart oneself; that usually voids the warranty. The unit will be entirely serviceable by VXL including replacement of the bamboo. Also the units sold in this campaign will have a 2-yr warranty, whereas the regular units sold thereafter will have a 1-yr warranty...

This was my thought, too. E.g., the Arizer Q has a jack plug-in long thin cord to the power supply, which in turn uses a separate standard detachable power cord to the wall. IMO this is easier and safer than on the board.
