    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

The Mobius bubblers with the dewaar joints don't have precisely the same female joint. My Ion fits the Cloud perfectly, my Micro Reti is just a tad loose, and my Micro Matrix is loose enough that I need to use the CB with it.

A bit of additional info re the cases . . . There is no exact size equivalent of the branded VXL case to a Pelican case, but the closest is the 1450, which costs ~$100. (I have a Nanuk 930, equiv to a Pelican 1520 - for using 2 HT's) The 1400 is smaller, but is also only ~$75. The Pelican...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

fwiw . . . I use the HydraLine almost daily, and have had friends use it many times. The vapor return line is I suppose a vulnerability, but the entire piece is strong and I see that only breaking if the piece were dropped on a hard surface (which admittedly disqualifies it for the...

The manufacturer was not shared; the only brand shown on the case will be VXL. The case has a custom mold made to VXL specifications.

Passing along this clarification per SM . . . The case is Pelican "style", but it is not Pelican brand. These were custom-made for VXL. It has pre-cut foam to fit the pieces specified in the email; note however that it is only for bent neck Swagger's, not the straight necks.

Not exactly. My OG is 2 9/16" x 3". It is a slight rectangle, not precisely square. And the bamboo is not exactly centered, either. I had a couple pieces where the fit was tight, these differences mattered. The CloudBuddy resolved the problem, though. (I highly recommend the CB.)

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

Thank you. Right, the 2007 only refers to the original copyright date. You do indeed have the newest version. By the way, there are a number of us here in the Fall of our years (I'm 65) and there are many who after combusting for decades found vaporizing and haven't looked back. Just the...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

Take a look at the first page of this thread, dated 2010. Then these, started in 2008: http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/first-gen-vs-second-gen-extreme.367/ http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/the-extreme-vaporizer-thread-part-ii.28/ IIRC there have been 2 major and 1 or 2 minor updates in...

Aw, now you've gone and done it. So it begins.

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

If the Cloud is vertical, and the pieces all balance or are held steady so there isn't movement, then you're fine. I use mine in Mobius dewaar joint pieces all the time; in my Ion where the space is a bit tight I use a CloudBuddy in the Ion and the Cloud sits inverted in the CB - works great...

I know about that Clarksville. It probably pre-dates most FC members, but recall that I'm :myday: . Ugh, it's burned in my memory (along with hits by the Archies). But these days I can also be a little slow on the uptake. Is there some significance re Clarksville and the first EVO shipments...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

Thanks. That's a nuance that apparently I missed. Also adds clarification to my earlier question re added distance with the wand. If the wand fits inside the adapter that closely, it seems that it is nearly the same distance as having the material in the adapter.

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

That piece appears to be narrow enough, so the adapter should fit OK. What is impossible to determine for sure is whether there is a "ledge" for placing a screen at the center. That said, it appears that those who have added the 7th Floor wand to the mod, have effectively replaced the adapter...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

And consequently the adapter screen, and its prerequisite ledge, are no longer factors? EDIT: By the way, that often seen adapter with the "handles" comes from aqualabtechnologies.com, AFAIK the largest glass etailer in the U.S. Most if not all others I've seen have been made by individuals...

    The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

@DDave & Company, I'm finally getting around to trying one or two of the mods you guys came up with. I've searched/re-read all the posts I could find, not quite clear on one point: Originally you were using just the new ledge adapter along with the standard Q elbow, with your material placed...

I think piranha etch will take anything off that is carbon based. Won't harm the glass at all. On the other, er, hand, there is a reason it's called "piranha".
