I actually have a Lotus coming in the mail this week. :D I'm gonna pair it up with my Orbiter and snap some pics or maybe a video of it in action. It seems like a whole different ballgame than the MFLB.
If the screen is indeed torn, and assuming you have a valid warranty, Magic-Flight will replace it no problem.

Simply follow their instructions and you'll have a fresh new box before you know it!
Just pulled the trigger on a Lotus with WPA from EZ vapes. That FC16 code is wonderful. I live really close to their shipping location so hopefully I'll have a brand new Lotus in my hands by mid-week. I'm super excited! :D
Well, as Pak said earlier, they have no incentive to show you the "good stuff." Anything really interesting on this vape is going to be proprietary things they want to keep under wraps until they finish the product. They have kept their mouths closed about the heating element and insulation...
Would it be as fast and cost efficient as outsourcing? It would be incredibly inefficient for the Grasshopper team considering they don't have free access to an already existing shop. They'd have set one up from the ground up, and I'd imagine that would significantly eat into their Indiegogo money.
I've seen it suggested to watch a whole bunch of YouTube videos of people milking their pieces with the Lotus. There are plenty and it should give you a starting point.
Hey guys, I recently read through the past 90 pages or so and I'm pretty convinced the Lotus is going to be my next vape purchase. :D
Since I missed the Labor Day sale on the official site, I'm wondering if there are any downsides to ordering from EZ vape and using the FC16 code. I would prefer...
I hate to break it to you, but if you hate dealing with batteries and want a vape especially suited for off-the-grid use, the MFLB doesn't seem right for you. That doesn't decrease its merit, as it's a great device in its own right, but you'll want to look into getting a butane powered vape for...
I feel like it might be more of an issue when judging how tossed your trench is (making sure any darker stuff is on top). While I've definitely dabbled in looking at the trench when vaping, I go mostly by taste and feel. In my experience by the time vapor starts showing in the trench the box is...
How do you expect to charge 4 batteries in an hour without running down your car battery or running your engine? You have to get electricity from somewhere, I'm not sure you'll be able to find a cheap method to make that happen. And like OF said (he knows his stuff about electricty), using a 12...
Probably a combination of optimism, not expecting having to work with the manufacturers this much, and projects of this scale actually being pretty tough to make happen. They wanted to be able to ship them that early, but they were unsatisfied with parts and such and wanted to do it right...
Just got the newest update email:
------------------
Hey Everyone,
We are here with our September 1st update. Things have been going well and we’re pleased with the results of our hard work. In the time since the last update, we’ve received more production parts, tested several assemblies...
Point taken. Your method definitely looks much safer than dipping the stem in iso (I've seen an acrylic stem crack and fall apart after being submersed in iso). Making sure you squeeze the q-tip to get rid of most of the iso seems like an ideal plan. Might have to clean out my acrylic stem...
That's funny, I used to do the same thing when I first started to use the PA! Although I haven't owned one (at least not until tomorrow :D), I've borrowed a friend's for a couple months. There's also been a whole lot of handling the PA side of things while a newer vaporist drew from my Orbiter...
Some people use iso and then let it evaporate on a plate and scrape off what's left (only do this with a glass stem, as iso will damage acrylic). Other people will push a tiny bit of herb through so it's covered in honey and smoke it. If you heat up whole milk on the stove (fat required!) and...
Glad you're liking the PA!
By honey I mean the yellowish-brown buildup of condensed vapor you see on the inside of a well-used stem or vaporizer. It's not gross like resin from combustion, but more or less pure condensed vapor goodness. There are plenty of creative uses for it (like making...
Well sure, if you want to harvest lots of honey the glass stem is the better option, but I find the dart stem more comfortable to use in general. I also like the taste of wood, and as with the MFLB, it benefits from being anti-bacterial. When you put it on the end of the Orbiter's draw whip it...
That sucks that your package got nabbed but yeah, Magic-Flight will take care of you better than most companies out there. Orbiter + PA combo is top-tier for sure. The full Magic-Flight experience. :D Add a dart stem as an Orb mouthpiece for extra fun.
