    Discontinued The Grasshopper

That could get things wet (resulting in water vapor). I've had Smokebuddies clog up on me from moisture.

I assume you could turn it to the left or right lock and back it off from there.

    The Grasshopper

Most backers have old, un-updated ship dates. They should be releasing a proper tracking system in the next week or so, but until then plenty of people have shipping dates listed that already came and passed. I was a backer and mine is still listed as Feb '14.

Some of us have been here since December '13 as well :D Plenty of ups and downs, it's like a rollercoaster!

    The Lotus Vaporizer

Pretty sure it's dependent on what material the o-rings are made of. Some are just fine, but others can degrade and crack from extended exposure. It's very possible that the o-rings on the WPA are fine to be immersed in iso, but I wouldn't go soaking them for hours unless I knew for sure. I...

    The Lotus Vaporizer

Not totally sure, but you definitely want to pop those o-rings off before using iso on the WPA. You're right that it damages them. Even if you don't know the exact size, you can take them off and bring them to your local hardware store to compare with what they have. You should be able to find a...

    The Lotus Vaporizer

The screw is just there to make cleaning easier. It functions as a complete, closed pipe with it in, but for cleaning you can remove the screw and dunk the end in iso. Everything works just as well if you leave it out. :D

    The Lotus Vaporizer

Try unscrewing the little set screw on the front of the stem (I actually leave mine out so the hole acts as a carb). If you angle it right, the stir stick of your Lotus should be able to get in there and pop the screen out of place from underneath.

    The Magic-Flight Box

The MFLB and Pax are very different beasts, in both price and function. While it may not come out on top portability-wise, the MFLB still provides instant heat and is great at conserving herb. And with the 'box, user technique plays a big part in how well it works.

@BuzzDanklin I have a bit of an odd question: how tight is the clip on the 'Hopper? Does it need thicker material to be able to hold on? Is it possible for it to grip onto a single sheet of paper and stay without holding it like many real pens?

    The Grasshopper

Just emailed Trevor about the leather sleeve (and the WPA) and got a very quick response: "Thanks for contacting me. The Stainless Grasshopper does not come with the leather sleeve. I think the Vaporizer Wizard made a mistake about this and confused some people. It does come with the TI and...

Where did you get that information? The battery item on the store is even listed as "Extra Battery" and mentions doubling your runtime. I'm pretty sure the vape comes with a battery.

@peaceonearth you might want to check out the more recent pages of the cheap, high quality bubbler thread for some more suggestions and help. The Aladdin one, in addition to having a male joint instead of a female, looks like it pulls a lot of water up to the mouthpiece in use. The video on the...

    The Grasshopper

@BuzzDanklin I think going for the fastforward route would be easier to digest than multiple videos, but I guess it depends on how much time you can slice off doing that. Definitely know that feeling of a session going way longer than expected. It would be nice to at least see all the...

If you have one of those Pinnacle Water Tools it'd be interesting to see how that works out. Seems like it might be good for taking big rips without having to bust out a whole bubbler. Other than that, I'll just be happy to see a bunch of usage from an experienced vaporist. Make sure to have fun! :D
