Maybe give the blue "on" light a slow blink starting at 25% battery or so? Something like one second on, half a second off? It could speed up once the battery gets really low.
If you're going to brush out your box, try to avoid brushing directly on the rails. The screen is easiest to tear there. A little buildup on the rails is completely fine to leave alone.
Just took another look at the video. There's a white piece of paper on the table, and after the "Let's vape some more" cut it looks like they've dumped ABV from both the hoppers onto it. It doesn't look black to me, but it's hard to tell. If they did plan to do a shot of the ABV like the early...
The latest word we have is "A new video showing normal use and operation will be released this coming week." from an update posted Sunday evening / Monday morning. I'd say we can start freaking out on Monday
Updates are on the first and 15th of each month. Unless something changed, the update should be Sunday night / early Monday morning depending on your timezone. :D
While I'm super optimistic about the coming release, I'd hesitate to recommend someone to buy in at this point. Despite all the promises and hard work that's gone into it, there will most likely be growing pains. If they stay on track for backers (like me :D) and start shipping out units within...
Sound to me like you're jumping straight to the higher temperature end of things. That's nothing wrong with that, but your trench won't last as long.
I'd try giving it less heat up time. I've found that the MFLB heats up a lot faster than you'd expect, and a good portion of the time I'll start...
Combustion with the MFLB is certainly possible if the correct technique isn't used. Leaving the battery in too long, drawing too slow or not at all, and other little things can easily let the trench temperature reach combustion point. However, with the correct technique, combustion won't happen...
A lot of those look like fingerprints. If you touch the cap with your fingers you can get oils and dirt on it, and they seem to leave residue if you torch them. It's just a cosmetic thing, but if you don't want any more make sure not to touch the thin center plate on top with your fingers.
The...
Looks good! That connection between the cord and the faux battery always looked like a possible point of failure to me. Looks like they wanted to make sure it wasn't!
You're quick, just finished reading it and went to post but ya beat me to it! :D
Things sound pretty good for the first update of 2105! They seem really dedicated to getting it just right before actually shipping out. It sounds like mostly cosmetic things to tweak at this point.
Those prices quoted are a little dated: 2009 is five years ago! :D
The current prices are $119 for a full kit, and $69 for a bare box. However, you can only purchase the bare box by itself if you're part of the Magic Flight Connoisseurs Club. You need a valid serial number from a launch box you...
