I've actually had this happen to me once. I was outside in the snow and wearing a pair of gloves I don't usually use. Somehow, handling the box with those gloves caused material to cling to the top of the lid and stay there. I haven't had this problem since, and I haven't worn those gloves...

Based on the size of the perc holes on mine I'd say it would clog up from resin accumulation quite quickly, perhaps in only a bowl or two. It's really optimized for vaporizing.

No, I believe the backers will still get their 'Hoppers first. Retail sales will most likely start soon after the backers receive theirs. I'm going to be very pleased if I get my Grasshopper by late February (before retail sales, of course :brow:)

That does sound like a battery issue, I'd recommend picking up a fresh set of Glyph batteries from Magic Flight. Just treat 'em a little better this time around, though. :D Don't worry about the buildup in the trench, it's totally natural (as long as you haven't been combusting in there often)...
