The serial number will be HT for Ti or HS for SS. The ring on the back end of all models is SS. If that ring matches the rest you have SS. If not then Ti.

I really don’t get these guys at HL. I see this and yet I have no sign of my purple IO ordered in 4/8 and am told by John that my place in line hasn’t come yet. I try and try to be supportive and optimistic but this and a pending warranty claim for my other IO make it hard.

Can you imagine how hot it would get without the insulating pieces? I don’t like the stock front end either but I imagine it would be way worse without them.

I really don’t get why HL doesn’t ditch the multi piece front end and just go with the PFE. Much easier to produce, much easier to clean and it works better. Profits on PFE sales can’t be that good to keep making a separate item can they??

I do use the Feeder. It loads a loose pack about 70% full. I never tamp and never fill full. I am seeing where the difference lies for sure.

What are we doing different? I have multiple Hoppers and have never had any problem with draw becoming restricted by anything but the mouthpiece screen. I use a super fine grind most of the time and always dump the Hopper out while still warm.

Fineness of grind can be controlled by time you hold the button down. 4-5 seconds for a Hopper grind, 8-10 seconds for a finer Flowerpot grind.

I use a Krups coffee grinder from Walmart. It makes a super fine grind that works great in convection vapes.

Check a local brewers supply for Powdered Brewery Wash. It will make anything glass crystal clear again and is food safe.

I haven’t been watching……what are you cleaning? Quartz? Saphire? Have you tried PBW? About the one poster who is having trouble getting clouds……could the PID just need to be calibrated?

I love my SiC dish. Take a dry Q tip and swab it out and then a wet Q tip to steam clean it and it stays pretty much like new.
