Big Papi comes with a red o-ring. The Satchmo doesn't have an o-ring...never has...The New JYARZ Classic now has an o-ring ... a bunch of customers started requesting them, seemed like a good idea so we add them by default now. The Satchmo hasn't needed one so we left well enough alone there...

We haven't used the red gaskets for many years....these white silicone gaskets are of superior quality. So yes, the upgrade kit has the new gasket type. It could be that you have a really old white silicone gasket...just hard to say without seeing it in person.

Sorry for the confusion. All you need is a white gasket in the cap and the black "shock absorber" underneath the glass. The above references some old stuff that's no longer relevant. If you have more problems please send me an email and I'll give you a call to resolve the issue....email is...

Its been years since you first purchased. Are the originals that you bought still in your rotation?

First model will feature the same glass as the current Classic. If those are popular we’ll make other sizes with a similar design.

Hard for me to argue with that logic. New design is coming but we’ve run into supply issues so slower than expexted.

The initial run will be one color but multiple colors will follow presuming the new design is popular. As for stacking Im envisioning follow-on versions thst address type of functionality but i dont want to get too far ahead of myself:)

Almost ready to go into full production but it still might be a month or two before they are available on our site.

Those are quality containers to be sure. But they won’t compete on form factor (small light):lightness (weight) ratio when the new design is out. New JYARZ at the same storage volume will be materially lighter and tougher with same or better air/odor/light blocking capabilities.

I’m working on a new design that will be adaptable to smaller sizes. Please stay tuned.
