Hello, There’s some variability in the outside diameter of the glass. Some people like to slide a little paper between the glass and bottle to hold it on place snuggly.I just hold it in place with my finger when pouring out the contents. I think you’ll find it’s not hard to hold it in place...

Yes - there’s a groove in the cap that “marries” With a circular extrusion in the base. I think you may have been the one to request this feature!?

The shock absorber in the base is open celled so I don’t recommend recommend submerging it in liquid cleaning material. But it can take a light cleaning.

You can do that on a regular basis...nothing to worry about there.
