    2014 H.T. Cannabis Cup - Denver

I plan on attending the cup on Saturday. Will have a couple of HI's, Voltage Keeper's, and some battery packs with me. Also will have some various fluidizing style roasting tubes for any vaporizer I happen to meet with an 18mm glass connection. I might even bring my HILSV to demonstrate my new...

    The HI

I like to use the bamboo skewer tool that I provide with each HI to stir. One of the skewers has been shaped into a flat blade that can be inserted along the edge of the bowl and then moved around the perimeter to displace the material into the center. I only pick at the screen directly when the...

    Tek Levitation Volatilization

I was wondering how this method would work using a metal disc rather than glass. Metal can get a lot hotter than glass so it might work a little faster. The only metal I had that was the right size was a 1/2" fine mesh ss screen that I had formed into a hemisphere. It floats in the hot air...

    18mm Glass Roasting Tube

The glass and wine cork tube will work perfectly with the nano since they both have the same size heater cover. The inside diameter of the aluminum outer sleeve looks to be 1" or larger so the cork will fit down inside. Trying to get some more glass tubes finished up today so I can offer some...

    Tek Levitation Volatilization

Being light in weight is an advantage. Most glass breaks from its own weight/mass. I drop the glass disc into a glass jar to cool after each use. It is quite robust for its small size. It will shatter if you step on it though but not from its own mass and not from the tiny forces it sees...

    The HI

@wunderkind - Thanks for posting the photos. Glad the HI and tubes are working well for you. Now if I could find a glass supplier that can get me glass tubing in less that 2 weeks, I will be happy so I can make some more. @sundrk - Glad to hear you are having luck removing some of the initial...

    18mm Glass Roasting Tube

The 18mm glass roasting tube isn't intended to work with the HI. It requires a unit with an 18mm glass connection and at least 20 watts of available heat. My new glass and wine cork tubes however, are designed to work with the HI or any other vaporizer with a 3/8" heater cover. They also provide...

    Tek Levitation Volatilization

I was trying to find a more efficient and tasty method for volatilizing concentrates. Dabs on glass seem to taste a little better than on metal. If only a flame wasn't necessary to heat the nail. Electric heat is the only other choice. How to get the glass nail to interface with the heat source...

    Fluidization

Bob is like the godfather of vaporization. Very practical application of vaporization on a small scale. I may not be getting true fluidization, but it is working so much better than traditional combustion based methods.

    The Voltage Keeper

"The Works" unit looks great. Not sure you could get anything more in that case. Love how you can easily determine the watts being used. I think that watts is a better indicator of power level than voltage. Also love the look of the new smaller case. Smaller is always good.

    The HI

The hot ss of the HI heater cover only touches the glass tube inside of the first cork, not the cork itself. The vapor path is glass and a ss screen. The wine cork just holds everything together and insulates your fingers from the hot glass. @sundrk - Glad you are liking the glass roasting...

    The HI

The first cork is completely inside of the HI body during use so it doesn't look as long. The glass roasting chamber tube is centered on the interface between the first and second corks. There is a screen on either end of the roasting chamber. The first screen stays in the first cork when you...

    The HI

Both the glass / wine cork and SS / wine cork tubes will fit either into a 14mm or 18mm vertical water tool perfectly. Any vaporizer that these wine cork tubes will fit can be used with either a 14mm or 18mm vertical water tool. There are no worries of ever dropping material into the heater with...

    The HI

I got some wine corks with no labels that are all very consistent in size. Some even look brand new. It looks like they used a needle to pierce the corks rather than a screw. They work very well. I also devised a 5/16" SS version of the retained chamber concept. There are two 5/16" x 1/2" long...

    The HI

Thanks for posting the video. The air flow is so good through the U Tube. Pretty much the same as through the wine cork tube. I need to get some more wine corks bored, but should have some ready soon. Send me an email to alan@toasty-top.com and we can talk tubes.

    The HI

If there was a little blow back from the water, it wouldn't make a mess since it is contained in the chamber. I would blow through the tube after removing it to clear the chamber.

    Fluidization

Between hits the herb mass cools and sticks together. I have found that if I quickly start and stop the air flow, it will shake and break up the herb mass until it is a uniform thickness. The herb pops up and down and bounces around while you do it. I am also able to blow back into the roasting...

    The HI

Thanks for posting the videos @Madcap79 Thanks for posting the WonG photo @Jeppy Thanks for posting the photo and video @momofthegoons A very nice first video. That glass heater cover can really crank out the heat. Makes it a tough decision on which to get. The WonG seems to be working wight...

    18mm Glass Roasting Tube

I just devised a fluidization roasting tube that will work with the e-nano the other day. I have had great success using it with my HI. I'm sure it would work well with the PD and newer UD as well. It is made from wine corks, 13mm glass tubing, and 1/2" ss screens. Should even be able to use a...
