Glass Vapes From The Rogue Wax Works

Well good thing I have a terpcicle inbound. My qc met it's fate last night as it jumped to the garage floor and left me with a nice hot souvenir with it's departure. It was a good run we had. I'll miss her.

Hopefully I'll remember which end is the hot end with the tc. Best part is the tongs were sitting right in front of me but I thought I'd be fancy and use my hands to handle it.
Started out sad, ended up happy! Enjoy your terpcicle. : )

@Cacahuates lol! I have done that on more than one occasion. And sorry to hear about your QC

I'm going to order some 220V coils. Is there demand for all three sizes of coils? Is there anything else I need to consider while working to make these more available to UK/EU? I'm getting an order of Terpcicles and Vapcap Cooling Units together for RVS but they did not want any coils so they will only be available through my shop unfortunately

Besides the glass stem, what's the difference between the Mini and the 14mm quartz? The chamber looks to be about the same size.

The chamber in the mini qc has around 0.1g + chamber and it doesn't require as long heat up or big torch. The 14mm qc can hold around 0.4g +. Both are nice
This is great info.

I received my terpcicle and did a bit of testing. Great so far. Coming from a 14mm qc it takes a bit more heat to get it where I like it. I find it a bit more relaxing too. Great flavour. I don't like how its 3 pieces. More parts for me to smash, but I dont need tongs. Also its not usable without a screen.

Just when I get the terpcicle dialed in it rolls to it's death off of my toolbox. Out of the three pieces there was only one survivor, the connector piece.

I really liked the terpcicle, especially how it can be handled without tongs. Well maybe I'll try the mini or just replace it or go back to the 14mm qc, which was my favorite.

These are amazing vapes and I think everyone should have one. Once you dail them in they are simple and pure producing chill or monster clouds.

Edit: 18mm QC ordered.

@Cacahuates the 18mm QC is my go to. Its more forgiving than the TC when it comes to combustion and has way better airflow than the 14QC and can handle small loads. I think you will be happy with it
I've been more than happy with everything I've received from you. Thanks for the great devices that I always come back too. Very excited for the 18mm QC.

The 18mm QC arrived and it's been pretty good. I think my torch maybe too big, I keep combusting. Im not accounting for the heat build up and it ends up biting me.

I was doing one heat up to perfection with my 14mm but this is a different animal.

Besides dialing back my torch time and level, any tips would be much appreciated.

The different iterations of the TRWW devices all have slightly different heat up times. I have the 14mm terpcicle and the 18QC and when I switch between the two it takes me a while before I can dial in the timing.

I would be surprised if your torch is too big for the 18mm as it is one of the larger TEDs TRWW makes so it can take a large torch. I use a big buddy size torch with the flame set in the middle of the range. I would not focus too much on torch time but rather heat it gradually and take test puffs as each torch will be different. As soon as the flame starts to turn orange I generally stop heating but sometimes it is hard to see the color change if I am in a sunlight area so I err on the side of caution and under heat it. You can always add heat if if isn’t producing a satisfactory level of Vapor but you can’t remove it if you are close to combustion.

Another thing to bear in mind is that the vapes are heat builders so they draw more and more heat into the bowl as your session goes on. The second and third draws are going to produce more Vapor than the first. With this in mind if you are getting any Vapor on the first draw I would stop and wait to see where you are in 10 seconds or so. Once you have got this down you will get the feel of it and have a good idea of roughly how long it will take with the settings of your torch.

Finally there is also an advanced heating technique that you can also use which produces even more consistent Vapor. Basically it warms everything gradually and minimises the temperature differences between heater and bowl. This means it’s easier to hit the sweet spot and produce thick Vapor from the start.

Hope this helps and enjoy.

Henry nailed it above. If your torched worked on the Terpcicle it will work on the QC

My favorite way to use my qc is hand grind with a tight pack and no screen to regulate the epic airflow

TC I use coarse grind loose pack with a screen usually

Almost identical torch times for me..

Thanks for the above. All great info. I've been slowing down and relaxing a bit. Learning her gradually. It so cool how all these devices function similarly but different. All of them pay off when you dial them in.
Im getting better results by easing it to it.
I think my torch is on its last legs. It has 2 modes. Low and dragon.
