It takes a lot of effort to scratch, I only have scratches on one of my 3 units and that was due to tripping over and literally throwing it against a brick wall for it to finally land on concrete.it feels like something that could easily scratch.
I have used the case and it works well especially when on high temp with back to back sessions on a bong, but the unit does feel/look nicer without it,but you feel the urge to use a cover/case.
I have found you can just half pack a load if you want...without adjusting the oven if you find it fiddly and the load will still vape just fine,Seems like the bowl size is somewhat adjustable.

The V3Pro and Starry bubblers use the same glass and will fit in the Roffu wpa, but they not very good I prefer the POTV glass bubblers and they fit as well. The new Gordito bubbler looks good.![]()
It sits ≈ flush on the silicone WPA for the Roffu and doesn't fit or seal.
I have used my old "M" and Wooden DV stem just fine (I just double-checked)...but, the Omni body I have is too loose to seal properly.I think I've decided to buy a Dynavap stem as those are also 10mm and fit into the Roffu WPA.
Does the Dynavap condenser fit inside the stem also? And do you think an intercooler could be added? I'm not familiar with DVs.I have used my old "M" and Wooden DV stem just fine (I just double-checked)...but, the Omni body I have is too loose to seal properly.![]()
It would, but I don't use it to help with airflow. The 'Revolve' stem fits, looks great and, has a nifty cooling spiral in it...but they are quite expensive.Does the Dynavap condenser fit inside the stem also?
I am pretty sure it is a puff counter as just turning the unit on repeatedly did not up the counter if I did not puff...with my OG unit that now has over 12500 puffs on the counter (I have 3 units on the go for differing scenarios).is it just a guesstimate based on how many times it’s been on, what length session and maybe what temp etc??
I think it "knows" by monitoring the heater activity, not by sensing air movement.… so how does it know how many puffs I’ve taken,
Run it dry with wpa it's a game changerHere to brag about my new Roffu as well
TLDR: - I got my 'OG' Roffu like 3 years ago, it failed after about 2 years of daily use (20k+ puffs) - I got a new unit a week ago and as a first impression it covers most of the initial concerns with the original model I had
One thing that I had in mind was the heavy rubber smell that many have reported - on my 'review' unit back 3 years ago I didn't spot any of it, probably because it was second hand unit and the original owner already did burn-off session and cleaned it thoroughly
However, the new unit I got (literally few days ago) definitely did smell like burnt rubber - the smell was primarily coming from the heater, and not the top CU part. After few max-temp burn-offs the smell wore off for the most part (still noticable without any flower), but after filling up the chamber for the first time, I barely noticed any rubber smell. 2-3 smokes later I couldn't feel any rubber smell, keep in mind I have been rolling papers for the last year so my 'taste for weed' is not great. After a week of use though, fuck combustion is the best thing I can say right nowTaste is much better compared to burning, but I've only used Starry v3 & Roffu, so not much of a baseline.
I feel like it heats up faster, not sure if it's due to the battery - maybe the one that I got in my new unit is better suited for the vape (3200mAh 11.52Wh DLG INR18650). Also new unit doesn't turn on the heater when swapping batteries - something that my older unit would occasionally do, but apparently this is now fixed. And turning the unit on is more responsive - before I would have cases where I'd press 5 times, 'Roffu' logo would show up but unit would turn off itself instead of heating up, so far haven't noticed such thing. I hope the new spring retainer is also more durable than the older rubber o-rings holding the chamber, so far it looks like it's holding up.
I got the lite kit for around 110$ on 04/20 sale, and I'm currently using the stainless steel oven + dosing caps, with the CU mesh removed - same way I've been using the older unit. One day I might try running it through water but for now I'm really pleased with the portability and ease of use (+ cleaning).
It's a great vape..& yes, it works best w/ the metal oven & SS dosing capsules..you get the best flavor & bigger clouds.
the WPA instead of the included mouth piece
I find that happens with the glass oven/bowl and no dosing cap. But the it's not so much of a difference

The metal oven and metal capsule are both now stainless steel, Ti was used during beta testing for the oven.does anyone know what material this is
