Alright. Received it earlier than expected. I know about the honeymoon period everybody has with a new vape, but I'm really liking it. Feels like an Arizer Solo and a Pax made a baby with passion.

PROS:
  • Taste is great.
  • Nice vapor production and doesn’t feel very hot on maximum temperature.
  • The magnet in the mouthpiece is strong as fuck.
  • Seems like the bowl size is somewhat adjustable.
  • Removable 18650 batteries. I had a Nitecore external charger and five extra batteries from previous vapes. Huge plus.
  • The material and weight combined give a premium feeling when you hold the device.
CONS:
  • Not really a con, but my TinyMight 2 dosing capsules don’t fit 😭
  • Even though I like the material used in the body, it feels like something that could easily scratch. Like a new iPhone. Feels amazing to hold just as it is naturally, but you feel the urge to use a cover/case.
  • Also, on the material used in the body: I sweat on my hands quite easily, and this makes the vape a bit slippery. Maybe an exaggeration on my end, I don’t know.

It takes a lot of effort to scratch, I only have scratches on one of my 3 units and that was due to tripping over and literally throwing it against a brick wall for it to finally land on concrete.
but you feel the urge to use a cover/case.
I have used the case and it works well especially when on high temp with back to back sessions on a bong, but the unit does feel/look nicer without it,

I have found you can just half pack a load if you want...without adjusting the oven if you find it fiddly and the load will still vape just fine,

If you guys manage to provide shipping options to Brazil I will for sure order multiple accessories early april. I honestly don't get why I can order vaporizer accessories from aliexpress or dhgate (China) but some american websites don't have shipping options.

The V3Pro and Starry bubblers use the same glass and will fit in the Roffu wpa, but they not very good I prefer the POTV glass bubblers and they fit as well. The new Gordito bubbler looks good.:2c:

It sits ≈ flush on the silicone WPA for the Roffu and doesn't fit or seal.

One post says the V3 Pro glass fits in the Roffu WPA, but the other says it doesn't. Can someone confirm?

Sorry for back-to-back posting, but if my research is correct, the Xmax V3 Pro glass mouthpiece has a 14mm outer diameter, and the Roffu's and Xmax Nano's is 10mm (9.7mm?). I think I've decided to buy a Dynavap stem as those are also 10mm and fit into the Roffu WPA.

I have used my old "M" and Wooden DV stem just fine (I just double-checked)...but, the Omni body I have is too loose to seal properly.
Does the Dynavap condenser fit inside the stem also? And do you think an intercooler could be added? I'm not familiar with DVs.

It would, but I don't use it to help with airflow. The 'Revolve' stem fits, looks great and, has a nifty cooling spiral in it...but they are quite expensive.

So I picked one of these up in the recent sale.

Pretty much been exclusively using butane vapes for a few years now, but decided to grab another battery vape as my Arizer air on/off button stopped working.
I only used it on the occasional dog walk, or if I had to travel into the office to work (rarely), but needed something as a replacement. Was going to go with the V3 pro, but picked up on the Roffu being generally considered an upgrade with a bit more power/heat to fall back on. So went with that.

Have to say I’m pleasantly impressed with this little thing. Not my first convection portable but much smaller/neater/user friendly etc. Nice to look at and hold too.

No smell/taste issues at all for me. Did 3x6 min 220C burn off sessions with the CU removed and good from there on.

Possibly a honeymoon period, but I’ve been using it at home too for the last week since I got it, which wasn’t the plan (gotta be a good sign eh?). It’s held up well, prob put a couple of grams a day through it. Decent battery life, 5-6 bowls and I’m swapping. Probably another bowls worth of power there if I pushed it.

Got the pods. As I planned to use it outdoors figured it would make sense, but they work real well, regardless of/possibly due to the added conduction. So will probably just keep using them to keep the cleaning down.

205C seems to be my current sweet spot (have had nice results with 195C too).

Very nice - need to order a steel oven tube (using the glass currently ) and swap the CU grommet “screen” for a real mesh screen.

Oh, and I really like the stock mp too. Saw a lot of people didn’t but I think it works great, and is comfortable to use. It does catch to odd facial hair, but not painfully at least.
Cools possibly too well for my tastes, I like some heat feedback (removed the intercooler from my simrell dyna stem for the same reason), but was very surprised at how well the CU works.

All in happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend it, most especially to someone new to vaping.

I am glad you are enjoying the Roffu and nice write-up @Gray Area.
If you like the extra heat, I would recommend getting the WPA when you get the metal oven as this can add a bit of heat, ups the flavour/mouth feel, and allows for easy swap/use of other stems to your liking (some Dyna stems fit nicely).

Thanks for the tip about the WPA. Maybe get one for home use…
I did mean to ask about the puff counter. Just out of curiosity, I’ve only used session mode. Don’t need on demand… so how does it know how many puffs I’ve taken, or is it just a guesstimate based on how many times it’s been on, what length session and maybe what temp etc?? I think I probably just answered my own question but I thought I’d ask anyway :D dont really think I’ll ever look much tbh. Guess it’s a good way of telling two units apart if you got two the same though

I am pretty sure it is a puff counter as just turning the unit on repeatedly did not up the counter if I did not puff...with my OG unit that now has over 12500 puffs on the counter (I have 3 units on the go for differing scenarios).

… so how does it know how many puffs I’ve taken,
I think it "knows" by monitoring the heater activity, not by sensing air movement.

From what you've said about liking a more direct draw, I agree with Les, you'll likely enjoy the wpa/ glass mp.

I used the glass chamber for years, then it broke so I went to the metal tube, since I had one on hand. The metal 'runs hotter'. My typical use with the glass chamber was at about 185C, but I go down to 176C when using the metal. (That's a lower temp setting than I use on any vape I own...). But I also think the Roffu can satisfy tastes thru a wide range.
