I'm leaning towards shortening the WW condenser, as I'm really happy with it in the Vongwynd (!) 😂 but the one tip that chokes it is it's own original VonG tip, and that one works well (though I personally find others more esthetic). 🤔 Suppose I could run it with no condenser? And clean it more often?
The hard part for this noob is remembering which combos work best in tip x stem x condenser/mouthpiece x torch.

I was also thinking about the idea of sawing off a 5mm off the Woodwind capacitor. Then it will be the same length as Hyperdyne. By the way, the Woodwind capacitor works great with the Hyperdyn mouthpiece and even makes clicks as it locks into the grooves of the mouthpiece. At the maximum submerged position in the Hyperdyne mouthpiece, it corresponds to the third position of the native Hyperdyn capacitor, which is the same as my usual Hyperdyn settings.

And so yes, without grooves, there is a problem remembering the settings on which you draw))

I have a question for those who know if it is possible to put a "Standard Titanium Condenser" in a Hyperdyne/Woodwind mouthpiece. This one:

Dynavap got back to me. They agree that my Vong tip doesn't look right and are sending me a new one. They gave me a return label to send in the original also. Still haven't heard anything from Element Vape. Probably won't be buying from them again.
Final update on the Vong tip: The replacement is the same as the original and now they tell me it's either a lighting or production difference. I guess it's a production difference because it definitely isn't the lighting IMO. Not sure why they sent a replacement without making this suggestion first. All good though, as long as that's the way it's supposed to be I'm fine with it. It's a pretty good tip, but I'm preferring my Halo, Ti M7, and Unidyn for titanium tips. So far, I feel like it can be a little tougher to get an even roast with the Vong tip.

Same. I love the Vong but I've never loved the tip for the same reason, I always get a scorched flavor. I have each of mine set up with a different tip: 21M, 21Omni, Ti M+, Ti M7, std Ti, etc. I use the 21M and the Ti M tips most often.

I found the best use of a vong tip is a Camouflet convector cap.

perfect 1/2 bowl full convection ohe, 6-7seconds in ufo, 10-14 in the wand

Ok, I am finally gonna try this. You're using a Wand, right? I will start with the Inductor and then try torching, too.

Edit: I scorched the first load but that had nothing to do with the tip, I don't guess. Second attempt I used a 3/4 load and it was a lot better, no off flavors, nice even roast. You may have found a use for my vast vong-tip collection. ; )

Now to try the torch.

actually I found my ufo to be faster and more consistent, the smaller coil seems to work better for the standard cap size, a ratio thing. The CXl works awesome in the wand, size ratio of the mag field to cap diameter is a good fit.
You'll probably have better luck with yll2.0 or similar. wand works, but slower and less precise. inductor is probably fastest

Anyone wanting to get in on the Vong action, DV has bicolored cocbolo vongs on sale, as well as their stashes.

They also have M19 tips available, in case your Vong needs something different.

Friends, can you tell me the optimal heating settings for Dynavap in Wand to get the perfect roast for a couple of puffs? At what temperature is it best to keep warm? And how long to warm up after the second /first click

Set it for 250F. It's timer-driven rather than temp-driven, so that will let it time out quickly in case you forget and leave it in there. The 2 clicks will come well before it times out. I use the skullcandy adapter on etsy and the depth is more or less perfect--the depth will determine how well the wand works. At the clicks, mine are perfectly heated.

Thank you! And how to properly immerse the Dynavap in the Wand? To what depth?

Good starting point is top cap ridge(not the digger outer) level with the red ring on top. Go deeper for darker roast lengthening the time to click. Bring it up more for less roast. It also depends on what kind of cap you’re using as well, so it takes some experimentation to get what you want.
