Any update on US customers? Im willing to take risks if I can help be a test subject.
Shipping will start sometime next week I think, still waiting for all parcels to arrive, no issues so far.
This is interesting. My T2 keeps making me jump as I get a click about 25 mins after I'm finished using it. Any way I can fix this?
You can try to press it against a desk a couple times to slightly reduce the curvature, but it's best to replace it.
A shorter spiral? I didn't see one
Only @RedZep got one, it was a sample for testing. It will be available at release, doesn’t come with the T2.
@Brenyo any rendered images of the longer CU that will be available at release by chance?
It's not longer, just has more turns. I don't have it in 3D
Your EU-Shop seems to have a different view on that :D in reply to my wish to delay my shipment they told me: "The shipment is arriving at our warehouse this week, and dispatching should begin next week.". Maybe they just forgot to update their standart-answer from last week tho ...
They just got the stock, should be ready to go from tomorrow or Friday the latest.

Omg I'm so freaking excited. I've really been practicing restraint and just waiting for updates instead of asking because people are talking about their new devices and I don't want to ruin or further monopolize the conversation. For what it's worth I personally think you should select the USPS for the stateside delivery because even with the tariffs still in full force, the USPS had a lower rate and the option for a flat fee. But really the bigger reason is that they didn't even seem to try to collect the tariff to begin with. So if you get the T2's on a boat to come over here and something changes in the meantime before they're delivered, I think USPS would be the safest bet

I was wondering whether there will be an upgrade kit in raw Ti for the existing raw Tempest 1. I received my Ti T2 on Monday and have been using it almost exclusively to test. Will report later with more details but what I can say for now, my opinion, is that other than look (I prefer T1) T2 is all improvement over its predecessor. Very potent but smooth to my weak lungs. I have used it native, with a j-hook, dry glass, and glass with water and the T2 shines in all settings, and it works well with both the wand (and new adapter that I like for how functional it is) and the Forge IH, although the signatures feel different. More to come as I am still testing it and really liking it. I don't need another device, but VAS may lead me to a black T2 at release to match my black T1. Thanks again @Brenyo.

If God is the answer, then the question is wrong
I am very fond of revolve 2 cooling design, which is almost the same as T1

I am quite sensitive, even with a dynavap the inner spiral alone doesn’t cool enough for me (as in simrell stem)

I see why many find the old design too much cooling (and condensing) but it is not my case, i love it

I've got a lot of sensitivity issues due to a medical condition.
Previously, the mad heaters stems are all I've used since I got a gen 1 factory second revolve, I was really struggling without using water before those came along.
The tempest 2 stem doesn't work quite as well for me as the 1, however I can use it quite happily as I'm not chaining bowls with it anymore, I have 1 bowl and it's potent enough to do me at that time, so that helps a lot.
Also, the actual metal ribbon is larger than a simrell, the simrells I've used in the past weren't enough for me either, Tempest 2 stem works far better than those - for me anyway.
Not knocking simrell stuff, just not right for me.

Brenyo mentioned earlier that a new ribbon with more twists will be available at launch, good chance that'll make a difference too.
Not sure if any of that helps you, but the stem might just be worth a try in my opinion.

Of these colors, I like green by a decent margin. Next choice would be black. As far as the silver color goes, I'm not sure if I like it or dislike it yet. Now if a wooden sleeve was made, take my money.
@Brenyo, I'd like to amend this.

I would love to see a much more muted/subtle (or natural) color available. I'm a fan of the 420 color available for the Tornado - I didn't buy it, but that would have been my color choice if I did. I think you need a subtle color option for those who want to customize the look, aren't a fan of the bright colors (or the silver aluminum) and don't want to get wood. The bright colors are fun but they're too bright for my preference. I have a couple T1s, including a green one (my daily driver), and I definitely prefer the green on this one which is more faded than the T2 sample green.

It would be cool to see other T2 parts available with colors, like the MP for example. Whether or not I had a wood sleeve, I would 100% buy a green MP.

Don't let us filthy Brits put you off posting! Our gobs are far larger than our brains (well, ok, my gob is larger than my brain!)), we'll be needing some grounded interjections to balance the Tempest 2 induced insanity out a bit!

Regards cooling, for my t'penth worth, I think the Revolve 2/Tempest 1 stems were actually over-engineered (in a good way) for their typical use, and maybe over-cooled in some cases, causing a higher level of condensate in the vapour path. It also meant the sleeve (with non-wood) tended to get hotter than the T2's because more heat was reaching it as it cooled the vapour but the lower mass concentrated the heat making the temperature higher.

While @Brenyo will quite likely say I'm talking out my arse here (otherwise known as 'precision farting') being the talent who knows the truth of these things, I'm wondering if the change is to make more use of the Ti as a heat sink to remove heat from the vapour rather than relying so much on a high surface area (e.g. the spiral) and this has the effect of having enough Ti mass to 'hold' all that heat without rising above a certain temperature, while keeping a far more open air flow because of the less convoluted path causing less friction (smaller surface area) plus a generally wider pathway it appears. So my guess is the actual mass in the shield and stem is an important part of how it still cools so well, plus the Ti in the vapour path helping to conduct that heat throughout the metal keeping average temperature lower (even though there are more joules (or calories if you prefer).

If I had to guess, I'd say the very inner core of the vapour path gets hotter than it would seem from the outer temperature, and this prevents as much vapour from condensing, keeping the vape cleaner, and contributing an unknown amount of extra active compounds to each draw (i.e. may be too small to notice the difference?).

My order made it through NY customs and its going through USPS

Sounds like the US will have happy Ti users soon!

Todays's evidence that the Ti hits - I dip and filled my Ti in ground material and stuck it in the wand- click and suck. Aaaaargh spit spit

No not the hot end in mouth, I dipped it upside down, the mouthpiece was blocked with my weed. I was so wrecked I didn't notice the bowl was empty ...

Hi! Made an account real quick as I just got my Tempest V2 in the mail, and I also bought ruby balls to try along with them. Sorry if this is a stupid question, I noticed the ball screen is now "twist to lock", but how do you unlock it? I'm worried I'll push too hard and break it and with no manual yet I'm pretty lost.

Shake the balls away from the middle, it can be in the way of the screwdriver head and turn it 45 degrees. Don’t put too many balls in there as it can make it hard to unlock it.
