Here to brag about my new Roffu as well
TLDR: - I got my 'OG' Roffu like 3 years ago, it failed after about 2 years of daily use (20k+ puffs) - I got a new unit a week ago and as a first impression it covers most of the initial concerns with the original model I had
One thing that I had in mind was the heavy rubber smell that many have reported - on my 'review' unit back 3 years ago I didn't spot any of it, probably because it was second hand unit and the original owner already did burn-off session and cleaned it thoroughly
However, the new unit I got (literally few days ago) definitely did smell like burnt rubber - the smell was primarily coming from the heater, and not the top CU part. After few max-temp burn-offs the smell wore off for the most part (still noticable without any flower), but after filling up the chamber for the first time, I barely noticed any rubber smell. 2-3 smokes later I couldn't feel any rubber smell, keep in mind I have been rolling papers for the last year so my 'taste for weed' is not great. After a week of use though, fuck combustion is the best thing I can say right now

Taste is much better compared to burning, but I've only used Starry v3 & Roffu, so not much of a baseline.
I feel like it heats up faster, not sure if it's due to the battery - maybe the one that I got in my new unit is better suited for the vape (3200mAh 11.52Wh DLG INR18650). Also new unit doesn't turn on the heater when swapping batteries - something that my older unit would occasionally do, but apparently this is now fixed. And turning the unit on is more responsive - before I would have cases where I'd press 5 times, 'Roffu' logo would show up but unit would turn off itself instead of heating up, so far haven't noticed such thing. I hope the new spring retainer is also more durable than the older rubber o-rings holding the chamber, so far it looks like it's holding up.
I got the lite kit for around 110$ on 04/20 sale, and I'm currently using the stainless steel oven + dosing caps, with the CU mesh removed - same way I've been using the older unit. One day I might try running it through water but for now I'm really pleased with the portability and ease of use (+ cleaning).
