Still interesting, and helpful, thanks. Any idea the size/mm on each side of the adapter...I assume it is a small straight glass one?
It’s 14mm down stem on a Grav Labs bong. I think any 14mm connection would allow the EZ valve to seal to it. It certainly limits the Bickle Tickle.

Ffffaack. I don't even want one but it's so iconic and now it;s green, I really like green.

I couldn't even tell you the last time I used mine.

I pull it out at parties because it's so iconic and people recognise it, but I never do, and never would use it for a solo sesh at home.

Yeah, it's a desire that can be quashed easily for me, but it would be nice for social events...

@Pangolin 6 I use mine often. The chamber reducer works great and combined with temperature adjustments allows a person to really target their dosage. It has almost no cleaning maintenance. Some people find the bags are a pain but I disagree. You can easily carry it about the house or flat. You do have to switch out the bag, but you can let them get as nasty as your heart desires. Also, if you aren’t adverse to the idea, check for a used model on local online marketplaces. You can find real bargains, often folks downsizing or moving. They’re almost like old stereo receivers and speakers in that regard.

Hello! Complete newbie to the forum (and repair in general) coming through here. I have a Volcano Classic (4 years old) that has stopped functioning correctly and I want to go about fixing it myself as the warranty is already out. I believe the issue is with the thermistor. The control light would go out before the correct temperature is reached, and for a while, percussive maintenance worked just fine, but as time went on it happened more frequently. Now the control light will only switch on if I take a tool and press on the spade terminals (I think that's what they are) and even that is inconsistent.

I am hoping I can just unplug it and plug it back in to fix it, but I am unsure since the terminal isn't coming out easy and I don't want to break anything. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

It's been a long time (5 years, maybe 10?) since I posted here. About 6 months ago I bought a used solid valve volcano off Craiglist... before this I was using a modded SSV...

I wouldn't say my VAS is "cured" - I miss my butane vape life the most of all - but to this day, the classic volcano is still an exceptional vaporizer.

It isn't super efficient, but living in SoCal makes that less of an issue. And sometimes the vapor is a bit airy, but you can't have it all...the modded SSV makes thicker hits, but the mess and clean up and setup is SO much worse that I find myself never turning it on.

Anyways just checking in to say I love my volcano!

So ... since the last VHW failure I've been using a Crafty+ as a daily driver for moderate to heavy medical use, since 2020 😁 (4th under Warranty, 3x μ-usb, 1x usb-c) which has actually help up surprisingly well (other than the obvious design flaw causing premature battery/electronics failure 👉🧠♻️) and so as an Australian medical user I had no legal choice but to to buy a Medic2 - I realise there's a separate Hybrid thread but my Q: is more Classic / Digit with Easy Valve:

Q: Does the old Easy Valve that came with the Classic / Digit - does it smell like absolute shit, stinking up the room?

(man the Medic2 filling chamber STINNNNNKS, and I owned a Digit and used a Classic for years no smell (solid valve) 😭 )
