The Nomad From Morwood

I was part of a group from batch 2 that got theirs 2.5 years ago. I sold mine 1.5 years ago for 3 g's to a happy buyer to help fund Customflowerhardware's start. Are they still on batch 2?

Yes, batch 2 is still being worked on. Do you recall your unit #? I wonder how many Nomad IIs have actually been completed and shipped to date.
The only reason we got ours is most likely we had to wake the sleeping giant (my good buddy vgez) to poke the bear and get them out to us! His was also in that group as well as Ed's.

i searched for a long time who owned this Nomad....

Dan just sent an update. He said he is going to be solely focused on finishing the Nomads over the next couple months and says they will ship in March “at the very latest.” I’m not gonna put any stock in that date but at least he is re-focusing on the Nomads and will hopefully be able to knock them out soon…

This is the Circassian Mountain Walnut Burl with sapwood Amboyna Burl I also sent for a contrasting tone and specie. @Dan Morrison was awesome to work with during this seeing what I saw then making it happen. The stem is African Blackwood Dan did sleek and sexy. Damn fine piece the craftsmanship is nothing short of astounding.

Unfortunately I'm pretty sure he's talking about batch 2 specifically. This was a batch 2 update email.
I'd weirdly be okay with it being only applicable for batch 2 if batch 3 got some sort of communication. Throw me a fucking bone...

Has he ever provided batch 3 updates? I kinda assumed he hadn't even started on that batch yet. I'd probably be asking for a refund if I was in batch 3 tbh. I just don't see how he gets through another full batch of Nomads after this.

Unfortunately, I also see a dim future for batch 3; but it's tricky because he did take payment already.
And that's honestly why I'm only barely irritated that I don't have the device yet because we are at the very least the last to get any more for a very long time.
And if I know Dan, which I don't, he's working on something new and always is.
