TinyMight / TM 2

This is concerning. I have been using the Arizer Air for years and was looking forward to upgrading to TM2. Apparently the US Reseller Vgoodiez delayed the planned pre-sale tonight :s Does this mean I got to order through Tiny Might to get an unit? and Hello, its been 7 years!

Fuckcombustion discount? :D
Wow. I gave up on my Air after one year and bought a solo 2. Then vapcaps and finally the TM. I had major issues with the Air: loose connection problems (battery door), random shutdowns and being unable to keep up with my draw. It did looks really nice though (Titanium color). IIRC there was a time in between when Arizer started handing out free Airs with any other vape purchase. The Air 2 seems to have been better (I havent used one).

Sorry for the dumb question, but I am a 100% native user with portables.

When you say stock mouth piece, are you talking about you use the glass stem and metal coolers that are inside? I would be a first time TM owner so I don't know as much as I should, admittedly.

Would it be too harsh to use natively with the stock stems? Do the metal coolers also go inside the Ti stem? If I'm a 100% native user, do I try and find a 'better' aftermarket stem to use natively?
The 3D extra long cooling stem that TM offers optionally has been totally worth it. No heat, pure flavour on low temps (say <3). Quite good even at 7 or so. Excited to try out the included Titanium stem. I saw vgoodiez used it with the Ditanium adaptor and want to try that as well. Where can I get the additional orings for the adaptor? :hmm:

Yeah, I kind of discovered that with Oregon glass blower, had him make a custom sidecar hook to use with my TM, triple right angle, really great holding in one hand with awesome cooling and flavor retention! So now he offers a standard style like that on his website, and we have the Chinese hooks that have some similarities... Just think of it like this, the vapor is hitting those right angles first, so that is catching all the debris particulate, and then it provides a lot of cooling. I use drop-down adapters with all my water pieces now to help keep the water cleaner, they catch all the debris, but they also can offer extra cooling... I have one rig with Swiss holes that I like to use dry, because it has extra wide angle pathway, even more when I use a drop down adapter, very nice cooling! Finally I helped Cloud Connoisseur design the dry Prophet rig, which are finally going to be available for sale (whatever is left after pre-order) wants the shipment arrives in the US, that one is kind of like a w hook with the extra right angles we designed

@cybrguy I'm not saying they don't matter at all, I'm just saying they don't do as much for cooling as the right angle bends, a lot of vapor goes through the spikes, they help catch debris and cool, yes they also get hot stealing heat, but in my experience basic spikes do not do as much as alternatives or more focused spike designs... The ones in that hook are overload so of course they add extra, especially since there is less right angle cooling in that one (and again nipples are porous, the term nippled glass is not a thing, try googling it and see what happens, whereas indented, dimpled, spiked glass are the more accurate terms... Nippled would apply to a mouthpiece description, not cooling feature, and I think this is more than just my opinion obviously lol why I can't shut up about it and I know that's part of why you can't move on from calling them that either just to fuck with me ;):p:lol::cheers::spliff:
Thanks for the detailed answer. Can you share a photo of this dry prophet rig?

Seems relevant to this thread as TM is famously synergistic with J-Hooks.

Haha yeah I was already planning to!

@iDRINKBLEACH should have them (18.8 mm female with carb hole) in stock soon... (they will have 14 mm female and 14 mm male mouthpiece connection at the top, instead of the reverse mine has above, which was a prototype...)

This is the triple right angle sidecar hook from OGB:
If you email or write in the notes when you order you can get it in 18 mm or change other things, this is the spiked version without the sidecar:
That is basically the one China ripped off lol (not going to provide the DHgate link for that one here but it is in the cheap glass thread and J hook thread and here earlier)

OGB also makes crazier more elaborate ones and footed hooks now too, can also make custom TM stems among other things... Don't forget Good Vibes Boro and Rogue Wax Works too!

Yeah, I am a little disappointed that they mention OGB in their description, but the Chinese as a rule care little about anyone else's intellectual property so it shouldn't be a surprise. At least there is no logo to copy...

Omg I did not realize that they mentioned OGB in the description now, that is pretty shitty and definitely more direct copying!

"J hook dimple water gun pipe OGB style". This is how Yingmin5 put it. I was trying to imagine what else they might have meant by OGB and could come up with nothing. I really think it was unnecessary to do that and it bothers me, but not enough to not buy from them...

I want to make sure we’re looking at the same item. The 14” j hook link right? They don’t just add the OGB name, or mention them in description, they straight up stole the description…maybe this is what you meant anyway…I just can’t believe their repping themselves AS OGB. From the item page:

These are all handblown by me here in Oregon.
High quality fittings and annealed for strength.
If you don’t see the J-Hook you need just ask and I will let you know if it is something I can customize for you.
Thanks for looking-OGB”

Okay someone needs to message Genesis Glass (that is the Yingmin5 and Lumin88 storefronts) and tell them to get rid of that, they are usually nice and accommodating, but they may not understand... Ugh!

Little housecleaning item, if you don’t mind. So off topic, but what ISO strength do you use for you glass pieces?
Thanks.

Two pages back, 8th post from the bottom is a link I posted about the jhooks I bought from Yinmin5.
This is my last post on this as we are derailing a very busy thread...

Hi FC, I'm new here  I will be replacing my S&B Plenty with the TM2. Prior to the Plenty I had an Arizer Solo 2 that I got rid of after a few uses because the vape was too hot even with lower temp settings. I didnt really know about attachment options at the time. I used to be a newbie, I still am, but used to be too. Fast forward...

There are so many different attachments that it's a bit overwhelming. I will try the TM2 Ti stem with CU though I am considering a J-hook, water pipe, or other attachments for additional cooling. I am hung up on the attachment size; 14mm or 18mm.

It seems most or all places are sold out of the 14mm WPA while 18mm is in stock. Not sure if this means 14mm is the preferred size or not, just an observation. I assume it comes down to personal preferences. Is there any general guidance/recommendations that you can provide regarding size to help me avoid buying the same attachments twice (14mm & 18mm).

Note - I am sure I will end up with both sizes in the long run, just looking for a size to start with. I've read that generally the 14mm has a little more draw resistance than the 18mm.

Thanks!

Yo, you basically have it right, there is technically a little more air free flow with 18 mm pieces, but a little more easy milking and restriction with 14 mm. I think you have the right idea as well to eventually get both connections and pieces in both variety, I would never want to have to depend on one for how limiting that can be, but I use 18 much more (if you need 14 email Alan@toasty-top.com with patience he can get you a great one at a great price) The other thing to keep in mind is that some (I think the 14 and the multi) of the standard stock WPA have fixed glass honeycomb screen (which I only really like to use for the occasional whole nug or chunky grind experience though you could put a basket screen in front of them), mostly I am using backwards RBT splinter stems with basket screen for the most versatility and they are all 18 mm but I use my Alan 14 mm WPA with most of my 14 mm pieces (I have an 18f to 14m adapter too and more so I can use anything with anything really) The TM works so well with so much glass it is easy to go overboard lol

I can't get 99% ISO around here. 70% or 91%. I would get 99% if I could, but 91% seems to do fine.

Also, nearly all my glass, with the exception of a j-hook and some ash catchers is 18mm. I find it is way easier to use a reducer to make an 18 into a 14 if I need to than to make a 14mm joint larger. It's doable but more awkward.
