do you use a stainless steel screen or the wand banger flower insert cup. I have the flower cups with the hole on the bottom and can't et much vapor production using the wand, might as well try the ttorch

You can observe this by heating a cup to temp and immediately reheating the hot cup, it will heat for just as long as the first time. I think if the wand had a sensor and other smart features it would have been more expensive.
