Both work differently, ones a pure battery voltage the other is boost circuit.
do this, do one press for 5 seconds, and another for 10 seconds see if it glows?
I will try that when I get home. I will be on skype tonight with Sam and see if he can try to help me again but if that does not work I will send it in. Thank you.
does the cartridge get hot?
because the 8 since its not a boost system takes a bit to warm up the coils even at 7.4v
if you are comparing gen 2 warm up times with gen 3 thats not right.
I love the Kiss alpha and other w9tech products but the 8 is driving me nuts

I guess I do. The water deflector moves up and down, on the center post, by rotating it.
Then you have the upgrade.
And none of them work like they did when you first got the 8?

So I just got a KISS AC to pair with my Hana Mod and I'm trying to figure it out. I've noticed it takes a bit to start producing vapor. I'll fire for like 10 secs at a time, get some taste and no vapor the first hit, then a small amount of vapor the second hit, and finally on the third hit I'll start getting some nice clouds. I'm wondering if maybe I need to increase my wattage/voltage?
I've erred on the side of caution because I'm not sure how much juice I should push through the coils. Been using the dual coil at 8w, which reads out as 3.4v on my mod.
