How is it a different beast?! I'm still just having a blast with my LSV....gone back to the ELBs! Found a pretty good technique that works really well for me, and I practically never cough! I pretty much never go above 1:00 on the dial.

@lazylathe - have you received your new silver bullet yet??

We need more recruits! I don't understand how this thread can be so slow, yet there are cult followings in other threads.
You got one right here:rockon::rockon:
Made a. Trade/change and should have a LSV in my hands hopefully by the weekend !!
It's been so long....
Looking forward to trying this new m2m ELB cap method everyone is raving about.
See you all in the clouds :science:

It's great that you are giving it another spin.... sometimes you need to try different vapes before your views change, as our vaping experiences mature. I know my preferences are completely different now, than say last year at this time. It's not the ELB cap that we use (although I suppose you can), but rather the ELB or the arizer eq elbow screen. I exclusively use the ELB now, and would rather use only the M2M with a 1/2" screen than the EQ screen, but that's because I don't grind, nor am efficient.....@lwien on the other hand!

Yup. I was using the shorty WPA ever since I got my LSV almost 3 years ago but now, the WPA is retired soon to be gifted to my son and for me, the M2M with the Q basket is the way to go. Able to vape PD size loads (0.025g) with ease and now I can honestly say that this combo is every bit as efficient as my trusty old Purple Days was.

I'm just able to get where I want to be using less weed than I did with the WPA. Also, and I realize that this is totally against any kind of logic, I get higher using the M2M with the Q basket through my D020-D than I do using the transfer wand as well without using more bud. I have absolutely no idea why this is. Guess it could be the placebo affect in play here but whatever it is.............I like it.

That's something I miss...the zero restriction the LSV offers .
What kinda clouds are you getting with.025 @lwien ?

As big but as comfortable as my lungs can handle.

The other weird thing with this setup is that I can vape with the dial set at 11:00 and I can draw nice and slow but I can also hit it VERY hard and get even better results being that the vapor is being driven deeper into my lungs. Drawing fast this way does not seem to affect the temps. Sure wish I knew the science being this as far as temp and airflow using the M2M with the Q basket.

Oh, and I also don't have to fuck around with the end cap anymore. That's also a plus.

Honestly I'm not a big fan of a Ht on top of the LSV. I've tried it many times with my friends LSV and I always prefer to use it upside down through glass.
It's very smooth though gotta give it that.

It makes me nervous as well.
I do not even like looking at water suspended above a unit.
It is like walking across a glass floor.
I know it should hold me, but I still walk lightly, and am never relaxed.

I have used VXL HT's since they were invented with several Cloud models (even the v.1 HT's without the extra protection, and ice pinches before they were practically outlawed), Solo, and the Herbalizer ($$$) without ever having any issues with water going where it shouldn't. I've never used a HT with the LSV, mostly because I don't own one anymore, but also because it just looks like it would be cumbersome, and I much prefer inverting on my fav bubblers. I only posted the video because it was on the same page as the first one, and I think I remember someone asking about it earlier so I figured i'd post it too just for the entertainment.

I don't know how you guys get screens in the standard wand or a M2M. I had no luck with either

I don't know how you guys get screens in the standard wand or a M2M.

It's even harder with a SSV/DBV wand because they are so much deeper.

I never liked using flat/domed screens in my wands, they would allow too much debris through the sides and wouldn't get the edges vaped very well.

Have you thought about trying a basket screen in your transfer wand?

I couldn't agree more with using a screen and losing too much goodness to the sides/edges, although it is possible. What I do find super easy though is getting the 1/2" screen to sit slightly domed (just like the bigger screen in the actual LSV), I just shove it down there and "flip" it with the included pick. I stopped having to swap it out when I converted to using ELBs exclusively.

Tried an unground nug (tiny maybe .03-.05) in the Arizer EQ elbow screen with fairly decent results at 1:00. Tamped/crushed it down and got a few more clouds. Still prefer using the VXL ELB, as I get the same results, but it's just much cleaner.

Not sure I could go back to vaporizers that require grounded up herbs now. My lungs feel like I haven't even been vaping at all! This has been a huge turning point in my vaping career....so THIS is what vapour is supposed to fee like!

I LOVE my LSV!

For me, the Q baskets were a perfect fit for both the M2M and the transfer wand.

Have you thought about trying a basket screen in your transfer wand?

Arizer EQ elbow screen
General consensus seems to be leaning towards basket screens. I've been using regular screens with my DBV but I really wanna try these basket ones - as they are reported to keep things cleaner plus it looks easier to load. Do you fine folks have a recommended vendor for ELB and/or Q baskets?

You can get the vapexhale elb's directly from their website. I think they come in a four pack for $20. There is also a 10% off promo running right now. This is my preference as well.
