More meatloaf Ma!
Instead of the crappy hardware store nail, they should get a custom stainless one made that's a stirrer on one side, and a tamper/screen setter on the other.

A flame lock would be great!Silicone my good friend! I do wish there was a flame lock and docking cradle though...
I can send Ed one of mine? I have like 12 that are clean.. Let me know!I use the head of my nail to stir my herb, and to help dislodge it for dumping in my ABV jyar.
I have lined the inside of my hammer box with sticky bubble wrap - really cuts down on the rattles! (sticky holds it in place...bubbles are on the hammer side...)
As soon as I get my silicon tubing kit, Ed is getting my clean stem, and we are talkin'!![]()
I received an email first thing this morning from @Head Tools that said from what I described it seemed like it was a simple tuning fix which a tech number that would walk me through doing this at home. I gave it call Dave answered and offered to have it sent back to be fixed if I wasn't comfortable tuning it myself or he would walk me through it. He also told me personally checks each unit before it was shipped to make sure it was tuned right. So he walked me through the process it was really simple and just took a few minutes and I used the nail tool to do it all. It solved the problem right away and taught me a little trick to the hammer. I asked a few general questions I had about the inside heating and how it maintains that clean air path? He explained how the lighter goes around the air path. I asked about fueling since I thought I should empty it before calling but I didn't need, so to test it I had to fuel it and he told me it should only take around 5 sec. I asked about screens on top of the herb to keep it from going in the air path. He told me that was an idea he had in the first stages of his proto types but decided it was doing much and didn't need it. The only other thing I learned was he said he would make minor tuning to his own during the different seasons due to temperature change.
Over all this was the right choice on first butane vape because once I got to use this hammer at its regular heat setting I could really control the heat and get the best quality hits. With the above average customer service, an awesome 420 sale and great product this might be one of my favorite vaporizers. Thank you @Head Tools and @The Hammer you guys are doing a great job.
Really? I find that the Hammer has near the amount of restriction of my LSV which IMO has the least out of all the vapes I've owned through h20 with wpa. I can use both the Hammer & LSV with my incycler functioning to perfection, although I need a Claisen adapter for the LSV. I am pretty confident the Cloud I previously owned would work with an adapter too. The Hammer however heats quickly and fills that donut with vapor without the need for realignment!Draw restriction is there, but less than the solo, so probably isn't an issue for most people.
